"I think the people are afraid to stand up simply because they might fail and in my experience you cant fail unless you wish to - and love will always conquer fear. I wounldnt give my life up that easy - this country was made for the people, by the people - and I wish to keep it that way. If a revolution came and was necessary, I would be on the front lines. Where yould you be standing?"

Certainly. I'd be on the front lines. If the new order proved that it was right over the existing government. Death is a chance you'd have to take in something like that. I am capable of realizing that there are far more important things in the world than my meager little life. You don't have to be a soldier to feel that way.

I hate government for its stupidity. If there is anything government can do for you, it will probably harm someone else. So because I hate government, i would rather reform on people's side...

And government can't possibly improve...

On the side of the people, the less control the government has the bigger chance of us winning biggrin.gif

It depends, really. If the government had more extremist or the people had more extremist ideas. Like, for example, a religious revolution I would take part of the people who were for religious diversity (e.g. Hitler's rule, I'd side with the people).

I would be on the side of the people, but in the safest way possible. And, of course, it depends if the government has uber nukes flying around or not smile.gif. I'm too pragmatic sometimes.

The iranian revolution did nothing but harm, and converted iran in to a terrorist oriented country. So no, I wouldnt participate, the governments these days know what theyre doing (in western countries anyway lol)

I don't know wht I would at that exact time. But, I am sure that if it became a serious matter. I would be fighting. But, I am more of a pacifist, if anything. If it were effecting me personally, then I sure as hell would be in the front!

Basically I would board up my house, get all my beloved personally belongings in there then get a nice big weapon, like a shotgun or a large metal beating stick, and kill anyone who enters my house clapping.gif

Saying yes is nothing, Its acually if they would. People (mostly kids in there teens) go "hell yea i would pwn at ww2!" But the things you see on a battle field is much different, Fear will strike you, You will half to be brave to fight.

No, it was attempted once and failed.
The US was more corrupt during that time then it is now.

Why would you want to revolt anyways? Hes out in less then 2 years...

If the cause of the revolution was just, I'd participate on the side of the people. But I'd also consider other methods (protests, etc.) before resorting to joining a revolution.

good one purity, I always think about this. Just world history anways. I would fight for the people if it was for a good cause. Ususally a revolution is, so basiclly i would join in. I would fight if it was worth the freedom of somthing or up to the same standers as past revoltions. I would love to have been in the velvet revolution.. (no bloodshed) hehe..

Yes, very true. Not too many people would be willing to fight when actually faced up with a decision like that. That is when all training you had previously begins to disappear, and thinking that all these people are just nothing more than a deer.

I would fight on the side of the government in most cases. Unlike most people at SEN, I trust the government, but not Bush.
You are talking about the American Government, correct?

If it was a Communist state, like China, by damn I'd fight for the people.

I'd definantly fight for the people, anything it would take to get rid of president goerge w biznatch

I would take part in overthrowing a government. The Consitution says that it is the duty of the people to overthrow an unjust government.

Long time no see IP

I'd fight for the people. I love my country, I am proud of it too, and I will fight for my country and the people.

The government was created by the people for the people to serve the people and please the people.

If the government isn't fulfilling those purposes, then it should be taken down and rebuilt. wink.gif
