Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The unit sprites are just what they are called. Unit sprites. The Units dropdown places a different type of sprite. They are pure sprites. Even though they may look the same, they are different.

They're simply the sprites that go with the units. Instead of acting like units, they instead act like sprites (as in the sprite part of doodads, which you can walk underneath). The sprite limit is 1700, the same as the unit limit, and units, doodad sprite componants, and any non-melee weapons count as a sprite.

I don't understand.. what's the differance between the menu Units and Unit Sprites in the Sprite menu?

The level of retardedness of the designer required to have created each menu.

Speaking of retarded menus.. how come there is a menu called start location with an item called start location inside that menu? Why not just have the item in the tree up-front? =/

...because that's logically where it should be placed if you know what you're doing?

Btw, keep making more spammy posts like "I love this thread," it really us shows how you love flaming for no reason.

Yes, and yours shows how much of a stuck up meanie you are. I'm sure that deep down, you and SI and DW are gods and really your redundant and idiotic designs are really just secret messages or are used by beings with 10 arms to increase productivity, however in the real world with 2 armed simple humans, that's all nice garbage. You can defend all you want, but that doesn't mean you are any more right about the solid evidence here to my advantage.

evolipel you're the one flaming, and if you keep it up I will report you to a mod.

He means SI by that "level of retardedness" line. I hope you realize that bashing the creator for no reason is explicitly prohibited by forums rules (see "Program Bashing"), whereas me noting spammy posts doesn't hurt anyone and would just help clean a few threads.

I don't see any flaming here, just me observing something that's exactly true. "Rofl. I like this thread ^_^." is exactly a spammy post as I've described.

I don't see any evidence of me being a "stuck up meanie" by noting that one of your post was spam and another included an ad hominem on the creator for no reason.

I have nothing to do with the SCMD2 project besides being a user. I have no idea why you group me with SI and DW. Thus, it's not my design.

Neither is the design "idiotic" or "redundant." If you wanted a unit sprite, click on the greater "unit sprite" category. If you wanted a pure sprite of a unit, click on the greater "units" category. Sure, the labeling could be clearer, but there's a reason why it's this way.

By saying "you can defend all you want" and the like, you assume that all evidence is "to your advantage." That is exactly what you're trying to prove, it's not to your advantage in any way. Just assuming that it is shows that you really can't hold to your own in an argument and rather would get away with quick jabs at the creator and the program.

Azu, once again, you can go ahead and try to analyze my posts for any evidence of flaming: there are none. Note: flaming is not argument. By the way, "meanie" is just SEN's way of censoring something a bit more... vulgar. Perhaps he wanted to write something else...?

???? I never said anything about level of retardedness, I am just wandering why there are two seperate menus like that or w/e

Um.. the "Btw, keep making more spammy posts like "I love this thread," it really us shows how you love flaming for no reason."

flaming me for no reason. I didn't say "I love this thread" and also you are basicaly stating that anyone who loves this thread is a flamer, which is flaming in itself.

Exactly: you didn't say that.

I wasn't replying to you, I was replying to Haplo. I quoted HIM in my original "keep making more spammy posts" post, NOT YOU. He was also the one who said the "level of retardedness" comment, thus flaming. I think that's where the confusion lies. I never flamed you, or anyone for that matter in this thread. The only time I replied to you was when you accused me of flaming, and I was trying to "set the record straight."

As for the complimenting the thread thing goes, it's wrong to do so when you devote an entire post to it without adding anything. Meaning, there's no point of posting "I like this thread" without putting anything relating to the topic, and that's considered spamming.

Btw, DW and SI are the creators of SCMD2 (well, SI mostly; DW helped by adding various things).
