Tons of people are complaining about him. I've gotten several reports/complaints about him (and these are coming from the SD alone.) I've read through his posts, found them to be objectionable, and see that he's really only making things worse by provoking others (such as TheDaddy and others) by saying useless stuff like "Stop spamming! Stop flamming! Reported!"

I think maybe we should either suspend him for a few days or just give him forum bans. But what do you guys think?

Why not start by merely telling him to stop?

ADD: I read his recent posts. They're not completely trash, though quite a few diss the site.

It's annoying more than rule-breaking.

I think his warn will slowly go up, seeing as how he's already at 60%. Maybe he'll learn to cool down as it goes up.

Wow.. what the farking hell are you talking about.. I don't even have any posts in the page you linked to.. speaking of flaming, there HAVE been a lot of people flaming me. You should warn them. Also, all I have been doing is defender myself. Remove my warn at once as I have done nothing to merit it.

If you are capable of reading, you would notice that it says "over that last several pages of said topic". This means over the last several pages of the topic, not on the first page of the topic.

If you haven't noticed, the people flaming you have been warned also.

I will not remove your warn as you are an equal participant in all the flame wars you so dearly complain about.

So if someone is constantly flaming me and I try to defend myself I will be warned for it? WHY??? Am I suppost to let anyone who flames me just walk all over me or I will be warned..?? sad.gif

Yes; if you flame back at someone you too will be warned.

You are not facing these people in a schoolyard surrounded by a jeering crowd. Ignore the flame and report it without yelling "OMFG FLAME!! REPORTED" at the other person.

But then they will get the impression that I am the kind of person that lets bullies walk all over me and that would be a very wrong impression

Well they'll certainly shut up about it or they won't be around here long enough to form an opinion about you. It's like when someone challenges you to a gun duel, do you call the police or get your gun? I'm representing the police, and legally you shouldn't be having a gun duel, regardless of how "manly" it makes you feel.

Everyone will think I'm a wuss if I don't stand up for myself though.. and I'm not the kind of person that would accept a gun deal, I'm the kind of person that would grab the guy's gun, shoot him in the crotch, throw the gun away, and call the police.

Well, the SEN rules don't stand for people committing crimes, even if it is in response to another. It would do you good to learn to stand down once in a while. Nobody will think you a wuss; flamers like that don't last long here.

So if someone says that my post is post is a retarded piece of crap, all I can do is press the report button, I can't fight back? But then won't people think that I am conceding defeat to the flamer? I mean they won't know I reported the person unless I say I have, will they? Damn why arn't the smilies working x_x

I'm hoping he's learned something.

I just posted a topic earlier today. Pin it or something, it's good reading for all the forums, not just limited to Null.

And that is why my tone is almost always serious (if it wasn't, it would extremely obvious).
