Alright, You know when you put a new cd in your drive and it has a few options for you to select? and then there is a arrow that says "always perform this task" well my computer is a piece of shiz, and i accidently selected the "always perform this task" button and now everytime i put a cd in, Nothing happens. Is there a way to deselect that? or make it open

Hello there zombie, long time no talk.
Here's the downlow. If you are using a windows computer, it was probably something called autoplay. Simply put, put the CD into the cd drive and then wait for it to do whatever task you permanently assigned it to do, then find the "My Computer" icon and then right mouse click it. Select properties (on the bottom), and then the tab: "Auto Play." Switch the current setting: "Select an option to perform" and change it to "Promt me each time to choose an action."

Thanks for your reply, Well i have a 100 probs of this shizty computer. Ok, I took the front panel off from my computer, Because my drives where getting stuck. But after awile, The first one wont even open! i can hear it andi t sounds like its trying to open but some thing is holding it back. Is there a way to fix that?

and because of this problem i cant even insert a disc.

Take something small like a paper clip. Form it so that it's straight. Now look near the CD- ROM drive and you should see a small hole. Stick the paper clip into that and just keep messing around with it until it pops open the drive.

Actually, if you look good enough you can get a pretty good computer for ~$700.
