If you want an explanation of my "256th Location of Mapmaking", it should be pretty clear. The limit of Locations is 255 (if I remembered right), so the 256th is of course beyond the limits of Staredit. I think it gets the point across that we (I feel awkward saying "we" since I'm far below the standards of Yoshi, BoltHead, and all the rest of you) are not just pushing the limits; we have already pushed the limits beyond what the original Starcraft was meant for. I also like 256 since it is 2 to the 8th power. Why am I spending so much time defending my view? Mostly because it's mine, and also that I put a lot of effort into making sure that it fits with Staredit and our (again, my maps compared to many of yours seem like Snake compared to Doom) superiority over those Battle.net players who have not the slimmest idea what a Location is to begin with.

pcfredz, the reason I think 256th wasn't chosen is because it's too specific... IE: some people don't know there is no 256th location, and they would be like and "What kind of slogan is that?"

The only thing mine has going for it is catchiness but Bolts has no catchiness i think. Its good but not catchy I would still go with My other one you didnt pick

Then again we could patiently try to explain every aspect of mapmaking to everyone playing SC on B.net, but I'd rather save time but teaching my modem how to get a better bandwidth (other than buying a new one).

The whole point of coming here, pcfredz, is to learn that kind of stuff. Remember, everyone starts out with no skills. Some people can pick skills up fast, so why shouldn't they come here?
