You guys would probably kill me for this but...
I'm probably the only person here that watches American Idol. I know that many of you guys think this show is retarded. Personally, I like it for two reasons:
1) The beginning parts where they go around to many cities to round up good singers. It's funny seeing all these sucky ass people that can't sing shiz (like William Hung.)
2) My main reason for watching this show is because of all the hot chicks there are on this show. And now that it's down to the final 24 contestants, and like 4 or 5 of those girls are just....
hot.

I've always loathed the premise of these shows - cheap laughs at other peoples' expense is something which I don't find particularly funny in this context*. I think it's pretty sad.
* By this I mean in a very popular show that masquerades as a big talent scouting programme. Surely it should be about praising those who can sing, not ridiculing some poor fool who can't.

I usually only watch this show in the beginning for the horrible singers (who doesn't? ) and near the end to see who will win it. I occasionally watch inbetween from time to time just to hear Simon's wonderful critiques

The only reason I was watching American Idol last year was because Carrie Underwood was still in the competition (and eventually, won.)

But some of them can sing REALLY well unfortunately. Last year, there were two black girls that were amazing singers. They just got unlucky.

All this shame about watching American Idol? Hell, I watched most of seasons 2 - 4 (although I've been to busy lately to watch the current season, but I would if I had more free time). It's fun to be chatting with a girl and when the topic moves to TV shows and she assumes I don't know anything about AI, and then I spring it on her. I'm not gay, but Simon Cowell is a good looking guy. Plus, he's hilarious.
As for the chicks you included, I like the first one the best, although they're all cute. With last names like Pickles and Cox, it makes me wish I'd been watching more.
