Well, maybe not the right forum for that question. But it's the forum that comes closest to my problem:

I cannot make uber@tion run properly. Anytime i want to open a file a error popps up:


I guess this is because of a not well working VB environment. But I already have installed the runtimefiles some times.

I am sure the problem is something at my system setting (Win XP SP 1) because on another computer all works fine.

So what could make this happen? Or where can I get help for this problem? Becaus i also have searched the internet some time for that problem without sucess.

ummmmm........ I came in here to help mapmakers, but I dont know what Uber and VB stuff is. When you try to find a help topic for that thing, try somewhere else. WHen map-makers come in to help people and they find alll these complicated words, you're less likely to have anyone help you. Try Null, or a place where other people are likely to help you.

Try upgrading to SP 2. Maybe it just doesn't like SP 1.

Sometimes when you put OCX files or DLLs onto your computer you need to use regserv32 to get them to work. Just go into Start->Run and type regserv32 and then type the path to the file. I think if you download the run time files off of Microsoft's website it'll do that for you.
