Ok, there seems to be a max location limit of 255 locations, and I was thinking, that with all these nifty programs allowing mapmakers to do all sorts of things; there has to be a way to increase the number of locations! I mean, you can make someones damage go up to 16 million for pete's sake!

So, are there any programs out there that can let you increase the map's number of locations?

you would corrupt the map after you exceed that limit as far as I'm aware.

That is why you must master how to conserve locations.

Sure you can make an editor that might support it, but it's just that Starcraft can't, so unless you like reprogram that part of Starcraft, no we can't.

Darn it. I just figured there might be since other programs allow you to have stats numbering well into the millions - if Starcraft can support that, then why not the locations?
Oh well, I can always go back to delete some non essential locations.
Thanks anyway.

You can't go over the 255 limit. They could have just reused locations using the move location action.

I never used that much and I doubt I ever will. Just use triggers to reuse the locations. It reduces map size and is more professional. biggrin.gif
