I personally think AOL sucks balls. AOL (America on Lag) not only is slow as a cow, but then they send all those annoying CDS, which really wants me to nuke them. My dad uses it for his business unfortunately, so I'm stuck with it... aggg

I really don't know what's the best. The only other ISP I tried was Earthlink, and it wasn't too bad, though a bit costly. Here's a list of the ones I know:

Aol (BAD)
Earthlink
NetZero
People PC
Juno
Joi

Earthlink is your best bet in my opinion... Of course i use cable... but my family has tried most of those and Juno and Net Zero are cheap... but really slow... even there so called "High Speed" isnt that fast... when it comes to internet connections... you get what you pay for... no wonder i pay 50 a month for cable.

Yea for some reason AOL was built for the Noobs of internet users.. but yet it causes crashing problems All The Time... youd think something that supposed to be "User Friendly" would have a little more stability then that...

I use BT OpenWorld ADSL. For me, their connection is fairly fast and very reliable.

In case you didn't know - British Telecom (BT) are the only major telecommunications comapny in the UK.

The best I know here in sweden is bredbandsbolaget. They offer 10 and 100 mbit/s connections for everyone that got fiberoptic cable to their home (almost every apartment in any large city) and its not very expensive. for the 10mbit/s connection I have to pay 400 SEK per month (like 40$) and 800SEK for the 100mbit/s.
