I Was just wondering..cause i Turn on the news Every day and theres always some New story about somebody being Shot or raped or Something..or a Disappearance who Always turns out Dead....What do you guys Think is it Wrong or Right to Kill another Human Being?

I don't think your options cover the broad spectrum of circumstances. I can't vote "Yes" because it isn't always right. Nor can I vote "No" because it isn't always wrong. I certainly can't vote "Don't Care" because I do care. It really just depends on the circumstance. There is no cut and dry answer to that question.

Yeah, there should be "Depends on the circumstance" option... and all the points are pretty much covered. Plus, you haven't been very specific... killing comes in a lot of forms, self defence, manslaughter, murder, killing in war, the death penalty or even killing of lives that aren't human (which can go into ethical issues, and animal testing). The areas can be very broad.

Not to sound like an after school special, but...
Since you said 'humans', I don't need to say anything about animals...because hell, I eat burgers...
But no, I don't belive killing is right. However, I'm not a total pacifist. If you end up saving lives by killing one person...(ie, a killer...don't let them run free, just kill them...if you put them in prison, thats food and money that could be going to some homeless dudes on the street...)
And I'm not one to say what's right or wrong, but my personal beliefs are that anyone who ever killed, raped, slaughtered, tortured, etc. anyone, physically or mentally, should not be put in a situation to do it again. I saw this oen thing on the news a couple weeks ago that bothered me. Some guy raped two 7-year old girls in alabama and the most the judge could give him was 6 months of jail and then parole, but he was released on 500 dollar bail in 2 days. 2 days, and he's back on the streets ready to go do it again. Killing is...wrong. But if they do it, they may deserve it back.

That's just wrong, the judge will probably be under inspection though.

It's kind of weird. We are animals scientifically. Animals kill eachother every minute, and they don't get in trouble. But since we are the only animals capable of having such a complex mind, we can have laws against them.

Killing through revenge is not something I accept. I know if someone you are close to gets close to the guy and you know how did it, you will want to do something about it but you still should not kill. Although if it was in self defence then it should be allowed.

No answer. Killing is bad because you destroy someones life, but you can be doing it to save more people. Killing stops overpopulation and saves planet earth.

Anyway I think that killing someone can be alright if you feel threatened by them
I used to be into kirate and I know these gun moves that end up killing the other person just because of how the human body reacts. These move make it not your fault that you have killed the person but those moves wouldnt work unless he has the gun to you making your life in danger because he is going to kill you.

Should've been more specific. Everyone is saying"depends on situation" yea its self-defense (like kidnap life threatening) then go for it. And what are you killing is it a mouse? is it a mosquito?
