Okay so i was following the steps in this tutorial http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=15413 i did everything it said the game started but when i got the scvs at the beginning they had regular stats... can any1 help me with this problem?

hmm.... i guess, most likely he did not write file path.. so couldn't see modification stats

if im not wrong, open arsenal go to dat editor, pick scv, change w/e u want save the file as units.dat and create a new mpq archive and add your units.dat and a pop up will appear asking for the extension os something like it type arr\ and then in your mpq you will have:
(listfile)
arr\units.dat
if you do you are ok then you just run it using mpqdraft..you know

Remember to name the SCV-file scv with small letters and not SCV with big. It matters.

No, it doesn't matter. All letters are converted to uppercase in the MPQ. They may be shown in both uppercase and lowercase in the filelists, but that's only for easier reading.
