I'm not sure when this problem started, but it started without any apparent cause.
StarForge started creating auto backups for me.
While many may find this conveniant, I don't often crash Starforge, and even when I do, I generally have a recent manual-backup.
First, I don't like the clutter of .baks it creates in my projects folder, and, second...
When I start a new map, or open another map, every ten seconds or so I'll recieve a "There are resources that belong to a player other than player 12... would you like to...?" or "There are active players without start locations...", which gets extremely annoying. Certainly, I could just disable all the players until I'm ready to place their start locations because I know how the terrain goes, or I could just pre-place them in some holder spot, but... I can't stand that. I don't know why. I think it might have something to do with obsessive compulsive disorder, which I apparently have.
So, is there anyway to turn off auto-backup, or atleast stop the annoying-ass error messages I get every ten seconds until I get my map a quarter done?
