Staredit Network -> SCMDraft -> Sound Editor! ARG!

I created a map using StarForge then swtiched to SCMDraft. The Sound Editor doesn't show anything! So, adding sounds is annoying, I have to go into StarForge and add them there then back to SCMDraft (since it's better) to do whatever else I want to do. disgust.gif

That's an example of an SF bug, not an SCMD2 bug. SF can't import sounds correctly into the map. I'd advise you to use SCXE/SCMD2 for everything except for AutoStack, which you can use in SF (but run the map through SCMD2 afterwards before editing it with SCXE again).

Basically: if you want your sounds to work, use SCMD2 or SCXE to import them. SF can't do it.

It does, actually. But it does <1>, <2>, <3>,etc for the colors instead of that bar. Easier to keep track of. It blows at advanced terrain though, always switching modes and layers randomly.

No. This happens every time. It screws up the WAV section so that other editors can't access the sound database (although maybe this only works with more than one sound), yet I think triggers that use .wavs should still work.

...and yes, you can use colors with SCMD2.

LOL SCMD is the best and terraining. Thats exactly what it used to be for, before they had trigger editors in it. It had working isoms and it has copy terrain. WHICH IS WAY BETTER THAN SF's copy. and since it has Isom it obsoletes w/e scxe can do.

What exactly does this have anything to do with the topic at hand?
