Every school has nerds. If you can't find some, you can always see them in a corner in the cafeteria with the other nerds discussing some history or science terms.

I myself is considered a nerd because of my math knowledge, shyness, and ability to program some calculator stuff.

Do you like these nerds? OR do you hate them for hightening your life goals? I mean they do take your wanted jobs...

I'm more like a nerd undercover. I have a lot of friends, I'm semi-social, and I play a few sports. But when I'm at home.. I'm on the computer like 95% of the time, gaming, helping people with tech problems, posting on forums, etc.

They make for better conversation partners. I'd rather talk about nerdy stuff then hear about some dude's touch down, or hear about how fat a joint some loser smoked.

Ok I dont like the Nerds at my school because they're obsessed about runescape and addicted to it so much that they fight, and go to non-game places to play ""runscape" that's what I hate about those kids, Nerds in starcraft start criticizing taunting you name it to newbs or waht they call it. Basically I dont know some nerds are nice some are critics game addicts. Who know if Nerds will change?

Some of em are nice, but others are obsessive and it's just annoying. I especially hate the ones who are so obsessed with their marks that if they get 1 question wrong, they act like it's the end of the world. That's the true meaning of the phrase "get a life".

I'm a geed, not a nerd. Nerds generally are less socially acceptable than geeks, and geeks get the chicks

. I don't really have anything against nerds, but when they're trying to explain something I either don't care about, or can't hear/understand what they're saying, I usually get a bit irked with them.

Anyways, I don't care if people call me a nerd, eventhough they don't. I still get good marks, go out occasionaly and waste my time on the computer.

Some people take it as a compliment when they call you a nerd. Nerd can mean as an insult or compliment when you know a lot. People do portray them cause they can help you with your homework or something...I think i'm kinda somewhat balanced between a nerd and a average normal person...just knowing a lot of stuff,into computers/programming but like going out and socialize with other people a bit...when i see some people in a bnet channel answering lots questions from those trivia bots,just random people call them a nerd and they take it offensively. i guess knowing too much is a bad thing?or is it just people that act snoby and think they are better than you...i don't care but we'll be working for nerds someday imo...

Knowing too much can be a bad thing when idiots get jealous, and those that know nothing are very often very.. physical and some fight a lot. It can get you in trouble.

I don't know anyone who's a real nerd in my middle school (except maybe me

), but I don't think it would annoy me too much. And they also don't annoy me because I haven't met anyone yet who can really lower my chances of getting the job I want.

There are a lot of people who say they go on the computer a lot (4-6 hours per day), but they're not nerds because they just chat with each other.

Strangely enough, the people who really get good grades in my school and get annoyed over every single mistake are good at sports -_-.

i hate some. there is this girl in my class everyday she wants homework, asking the teacher "Can we have homework now?". I say, "My god, what's your deal with homework?" then she goes, "Wouldn't you rather do it at school than home?" and I'm flipping out because for me I would say no, I would rather listen to the lesson and not have to do work.

but everyday its the same old thing of can we have our homework now?
she's one of the popular kids but she is teh nurdyuzt dat kagn bee.

Maybe I like doing my homework at home than I can eather take my time, do it when I feel like it, or get help from someone who I dont hate if I need it

i feel the same way. also this person asks the same question like 10 times.

The girl does the following:
-asks for homework everyday to do it in class (annoying)
-asks 100 questions about the same thing she just asked (also annoying)
-A quick example of this annoying situation:

Teacher: The square root of 16 is 4.
Girl: I dont get it.
Teacher: (EXPLAINING HERE)
Girl: I still dont get it.
Teacher: What don't you get?
Girl: Everything.
etc.......

The reason that it's the same thing in my school, is because...like...practice is every day. So the nerdy biznatches have nothing better to do than go after school every day to join the football team, etc...All the really good players don't bother.

All the gay people that ask for homework piss me off. However, people would probably think I'm just a shy one of those by look...but hell, being in the honors classes as the one kid NOT like "HEY GUYZ CMON LETS CHECK OUT REGENTSPREP.ORG!!" etc... But the thing is, I just wear random shiz every other day, no style or anything. So people judge most nerdy people as nerds when maybe they're not.

And the other day, I heard this kid walk out of the room, talking about some nor'easter supposed to hit or such...and the other kid was like , in this nasal voice, "Believe me, Matthew, I know my atmospheric science" And he was totally serious!!!

But YEE, some nerds are farkin gay. Some nerds are sorta cool. Like the type that go home, play video games, and then plan to blow up the school.

I said yes, because real nerds are cool, gay nerds i just call dorks/geeks/fags ;P (DONT FLAME ME I JUST CALL THEM FAGS CUZ I DO I DONT HATE GAYS PWNT!)

I have some nerds in my classes. One of them is really annoying because he always tries to start a fight with me even though I'd kick his ass but he's just kidding. Other than that they aren't too bad to talk to.
