I'll be studying Computer Engineering specialized in hardware components.

Don't really know how college works, but I'll probably study some form of journalism.

I think it's something like 'building your own computer' and understanding how everything in it works in detail. Hence the 'hardware components'

Science, whether it be biology or physics.
If not, then possibly Computer Science.
If not, then possibly Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Yes, all hardware components are made by machines. We just design them.

I plan to study medicine and get my specialists degree to become a surgeon (Of what, I haven't decided).

I didn't know whether Psychology fell under Science or Medicine, so I put other.

It's pretty obvious most of us would end up thinking that computer science is the best for them. Since we all are SC geeks, we should love computers and designing stuff because we also like to make starcraft maps.
