I'm kinda curious, seeing as this is a predominately straight male community (the group that makes up the largest percentage of crossdressers). I myself wear women's clothing to a limited extent, I do not wear makeup, use nail polish, wear wigs, or shave excessively (just my legs and standard male face shaving). I do not consider myself a woman, I do not wish to be a woman, and I do not try to imitate being a woman.

If you do crossdress, please explain your reasons why. If not, then I'm not really interested in hearing how "straight" you are.

Define it please. And specifically what types of crossdressing there is.

One of my old girlfriends and I traded shirts for a few minutes once. So I've worn a girl's tank top before.

Hmm, I crossdressed twice, and that was only in front of these friends that wanted me to try it. As for the make up, I did try it twice and it was because again my friends were curious about me wearing it as well. Apparently I had foundation, eyeshadow and all this layer of crap and I actually despised it. I did walk into the public with all that make up though. Lol, I wasn't actually the one embarrassed, it was my friends.

So in conclusion, I don't do it regularly personally. I'm happy with my biological gender. I only tried it since I was curious and I kind of got pressurised into doing it. I only have black and purple eye shadow which I use somewhat (a lot less now).

Oh, as for the shaving thing... hmm I've shaved my legs, arms and face (Omg, yas facial hair). It's actually quite obvious that I do and my friend at school actually realised it. Hmm, I just dun like being hairy.

There are transsexuals, people who feel as though they are the opposite gender, transvestites, who get a sexual kick out of it, drag, crossdressing for performances, and people who wear it because they're more comfortable with it or just want to.

Screwed, out in public? That's ballsy. Shaving isn't part of crossdressing so to speak, it's more of an assumed accessory. Hairy crossdressing.. yuck.

on haloweens yeah. people say iam the most creepy guy because i wear girls dress but theres hair all over my arms, my legs and my face.

Edit: I have dressed up in women's clothes, wigs, high-hells and makeup just because my cousin wanted to trick my brother into thinking I was a chick. I still have no idea why I ever agreed to the idea. (omg I was so sexy. For those few minutes the mirror was my best friend.)

Ever consider doing it again? Some women's clothing is REALLY fun. I have a used clothing store a few blocks away from my house. It keeps me content.

I don't do any of the "female" things. I don't shave or wear makeup. The only time I've worn womens cloths was when I was small and I was trying to be funny.

The worst I've done is dress up for a play. And I was a female alien, so that doesn't really count =\

My cousin made me try several voices to find the most female one that I could make. (This was a few years ago, so that was easy)

Reddish orange hair about shoulder length, a pink shirt, a skirt, high-heels. Also to cover up who I was (it was a joke) a bunch of makeup. I should have taken a picture (Except all my cousin's friends think I am hot and want to go out with me (my cousin is a girl, that is why she had access to all the female accessories) and if they had a picture of me dressed up as a girl.. )

I voted no, im perfectly fine being the gender that I was born with I have never tried to be a woman and Im pretty sure I never will, Im not in any kind of anything against people who are crossdressers its just im not that type of person. I mean when I was younger I wore black eyeliner but that was when it was halloween but alot of guys where that to be cool but I only had done it during that time. But im prefectly fine being a male and loving the woman!

I shave face, legs and armpits but for the reason that I run Track & Field. But during the off season I continue to shave simply because it feels better due to the fact that I live in a tropical country with lots of heat and humidity.

I've changed clothing with a few girls a few times. Hell, at a party at my friend's house with a pool I was taking a bath after practice to go into the pool and at that time, the girl I was going out with, was changing in the same bathroom, but i was behind the curtains. When I go out to put my bathing suit, I didn't find it so I yelled at her out the window and saw that she had it on with a towel around her breasts. So I decided to put her's on with a towel around it because I wasn't going to go out with my thing hanging out like that.
The rest is minor stuff like changing shirts, as Doodan said. I mostly do it by petition of women or bets, not for my personal likeing.

Hmm. I think its a bit different for chicks to crossdress over guys. I mean, I love wearing guy pants. I do it on a regular basis. I also have boxers in my room. My marching band uniform is so shear I have to wear them over chick shorts. Chick shorts are the most repulsive, uncomfortable things ever invented. Guy pants have low crotches for obvious reasons, and that's comfy. So I guess I crossdress on a regular basis. Besides, my Dark Side of the Moon boxers pwn you.

Boxers are cool, but everything else I usually keep pretty "girly".

A lot of my friends wear jackets or jeans from the girls section, and a couple of them skate, DeadlyInnocence. Go figure.

While making a short film a few years ago, we didn't have any girls, so I played the part of the stupid girlfriend.
I don't think I'm going back to wearing heels any time soon.

Maybe I'd crossdress as a joke but not for any kind of "sick" purpose.
