Alright, thanks Moosey for letting me recall this from early in Baldur's Gate 2 for those who played it.
"Suppose you wake up next morning in a cell. Beside you is your sibling. (if you don't have a sibling, deal with it) There is a button in front of you. If you press the button, you will fall into a pit of lava, and your sibling goes free. And vice versa for your sibling. If neither of you press the button, you will both die. I'f you both press the button, you will both die. There is a hourglass counting teo minutes. Do you press the button?"

We would talk and decide as fast as me and my sibling could, but I would with all my power only let one of us die. I'f at the last second neither of us would press the button, I would set my brother/sister free.
So No, unless my sibling would not press the button for anything in the world.

It might depend how close you are to the sibling. If you are close you would like to die and let your sibling free. However, your sibling will want to die with you because he/she will forever feel quilty about letting you die and he/she to live.
But if you guys don't really like each other then fight it out and see how gets to die

If I remember correctly, you get more xp if you say you would press the button. (like 500 more or something pretty insignificant

Heck yea. I would press the button to release my sister. She has more friends who care about her than I do with my friends. I will hope that she herself won't press the button or we will die with each other which defeats my purpose... But I always liked lava anyways.

depends on how well my sister is. if my sister was fat and ugly and something that isnt suit for life? no. if she was hot and skinny and popular? probably yeah. but i'll throw that button away and call it a bogus.
