Okay, so I'm working on the buttons for the new units in SCR. I've got all the buttons done, and through guessing I've managed to get them pretty close to looking like the other buttons.

The thing about Starcraft is that for some reason, all the button graphics in the cmdicons.grp or whatever it's called are all blue and purple (when in-game they appear yellow and black). And though I've pretty much got it working with just guesswork, I'd like to know what method people usually use to smoothly make new buttons (if there is a normal way).

Let me know if I'm being unclear. ermm.gif

You either need to edit the icons using the normal pallet (.pal) file,
or you need to create a custom pallet with paledit to use for your icons

extract RetroGRP zip file then u will see "cmdicon.pal" file
just use that with any Graphic Applications

Some of the colors are repeated, so using some image editors will use the wrong index making them the wrong colors.
