I searched the site and cant find any info on adding colors to texts. Can anyone tell me how? Im using Staredit X-tra, thx
Well, if you actually look at the text dialogues on X-Tra Editor, you will see some strange symbols in boxes off to the right. They'll have the names of different colors nect to them. Highlight the color you want with your mouse and hit Ctrl-C to copy that character. Paste it in front of the text you want to be that color. You can change colors by doing the same thing. Each new line has to be re-colored. There ya go. Easy, huh?
I think thats only for Xtra 2.6...
Oh, really? The my next suggestion would be (drum roll, please): switch to 2.6.
Nope. It's on all version of X-tra I know of, and Starforge and SCMdraft and there's a separate tool for it. In fact the ONLY place it isn't is regular old Staredit. (No pun intended

)
I usually use this program because you can see the colors. You need VB4 Runtimes for run it.
Yeah, but is just isn't fun to use that anymore! If your using X-Tra Editor, maybe have a look at your right hand screen some time!

I removed that a while ago because it was obsolete. I guess I should put it back...
Omg what do people not understand about copy and paste. ><
2.5 doesn't have the colors in there.
Uh yes it does... the colors were on the right side, I always used them. How can they be missed?!?

I'm talking about colors, not marks, the colors, a green square, a blue square, etc.
I dont have the editor but i've seen it. To color your text there would be a little key with labels of different colors. Each of them will have a little box and a little black mark next to each. If u want to color the text all u need to do is copy that mark of wut ever color u want and place next to the word.

Says the person who doesn't use 2.5
Gosh where have you been 2.5 incorperated both color codes and overlap codes when it was first released.
Bleh, I must be thinking of something else
