I'm making a map, & i put music in it.. aout 35 sec. & it increased size from 140 kB to 1700 kB. I saw Marathon bound 2, & it has about 20-25 sec. of music, & takes only about 450 kB ! What is the secret ??????? confused.gif

It could be:
A. The format
B. Compression of the file
C. Just a more complex sound file

My advice: Get a mic for your comp and play the sound while it records. Doing that might make it less data to handel. Plus its only 1700kb unless you play with the damn dial uppers you should be fine. I get 575kb a sec on SC though its a good deal slower then my connect.

I know a better way. pm me, and send me the file. Don't matter what file type. If my comp can play it, it can become .wav and become compressed. That simple. I'll teach you how too. It's not that hard.
