All right. I'm trying to create a mod that will accompany a couple missions in a campaign. The mod involves changing Protoss around so that they become a mix of Protoss and Zerg traits. What I need to know is this: without using MemGraft, is it possible to make non-Zerg buildings spread Creep? Actually, that's not necessary, but it would be nice to know. My big question is: Is there any way to let Protoss or Terran have buildings on Creep?
I don't know about spread it, but you can make them creep buildings.

The only real issue with that is that when they die, the creep might ot vanish if it wasn't an building originally intended to creep. I had this problem with an extractor once; it's fairly annoying.
Hmm...that sounds good, all right; can I make them able to be built on creep but not necessarily need it?
yes. check the flags area where u can make the unit permanantly cloaked, its a detector ect. it should be found there
That works perfectly. But my Nexi (Nexuses? Nexi?) and Pylons won't produce creep, which means I can't build anything...
EDIT: Just to clarify, I did give them "Initing Creep Growth" as their idle AI action.
Are you trying to build Zerg stuff? If not, then just make your modded buildings not need creep.
Here. I'm posting the question again, in boldface capital letters, since we seem to be misunderstanding it:
1)IS THERE ANY WAY TO LET OTHER RACES BUILD ON CREEP BUT NOT NEED IT? (CAN BUILDING ON CREEP BE OPTIONAL?)
2)WHY WON'T MY PYLONS SPREAD CREEP WHEN I CHANGE THEIR IDLE ORDER TO "INITING CREEP GROWTH?"
#1 is a yes, I dont know how but look at FCTC Gold's Queen's Nest, it can be built on Creep and off creep. Maybe its in the Zerg type under StarEdit?
#2 may be that they dont have Creep Building checked under the Advanced Tab.
Actually, things DO spread creep...if there's creep nearby to start with. Since this will only be for a couple levels in a campaign, I think that that's good enough. Thank you, everyone, for your help.
