I don't think you'll see you'll clan listed here anytime soon if its just starting now. Although if you have enough members who would also on this site you might have a chance.

um, what you are trying to say can be done in PHP, I think.

Or countless of other languages (well, not countless).
If you don't want to spend hours learning those, then buy a script or download one. There are clan scripts for sale around the web, or you could use Portals, which are harder to use (considerably) but more powerful.

This would go under the catagory of "Content Management System." I would create it in PHP, and no it does not take hours to learn. I learned the bulk of it in a very short amount of time, especially considering PHP has one of the best backbones for a server-side internet language because it has a great resource site (php.net) so if you do get stuck it isn't hard to find examples, or search what functions you might need. CMS is a widely used thing now-a-days, it makes for a very up-to-date feel and it is easier to update information. The only thing I would like to remind you is, PHP is a SERVER-SIDE language meaning it isn't meant for CLIENT-SIDE operations! There are some languages that are hybrids like javascript(javascript doesn't take long to learn either), except javascript lacks certain aspects(but different languages can be used in harmony). I guess you could also just find/buy a premade clan script... sad.gif

It was hard for me to memorize it. First real programming language happy.gif.

Javascript isn't hybrid; it's purely browser-side, as is VBscript.

I hate premade clan scripts. So. Damn. Cheap.

Um.. Java is a computer language. It's not a web language. You must mean JavaScript.. Two different things.
