Well, I am having issues connecting my computer to the network.
I am tired of talking to people who are hard to understand, and am getting desperate.
So, I am here now...
Well, I just bought a new computer, and I am trying to connect to the family computer line. But, the thing is... I only get to the access point. but, I cannot connect to the internet.
I have tried using the WEP code thing to connect, but to no avail.

Router:
2Wire
Wireless:
Linksys WMP54G v 4.0
The computer is brand new, and shouldn't have a problem with the software.
PLEASE help!

I have the exact same model and everything. Make sure all options on your router are open, and ready for wireless contact. Make sure that your adaptor is connected properly. With USBs these days, they almost fit both ways. Try turning any firewalls or anti-virus scans off, let the router and the wireless system connect with each other and the computer, and let them auto-configure. After that, turn anything like Zone Alarm on again. If that doesn't work, replace your wirless connection.
