I run both, but I'll always be a sprinter.
My times:
100m - 11.21s (last year) I'm aiming for 10.9
200m - 22.82s (2 years ago) I'm aiming for less than 22.00s
400m - 51.73s (2 days ago) I'm aiming for less than 50.00s
800m - 2:16 (a few months ago)
1500m - 4:58 (1 year ago)
1 mile - 5:22 (2 years ago)
2 miles - 11:49 (2 years ago)
3 miles - 19:46 (a few months ago)
Basically, I didn't do much last year because of injuries and I've just begun competing last friday.
Well, I enjoy running but I don't do it competitively.
I've been in most of my school cross-countries, and I usually come about 12th-15th out of 120 or so runners.
Cross Country.
My MPM my last race was 6:49
The race's length was 2.6 miles, so I guess it's okay. Especially since the race was in 1 degree celcius.
I'm a frehsman XD
I was going to run Outdoor/Indoor track but then I got Phunomia and Broncitis, so I didn't join Indoor, and I'm sort of out of worn out now, so I don't want to run outdoor.
I came 35th out of 70 in the JV GBL(Greater Boston League) meet.
It was a girls/boys race too.
100 M - 13.52 seconds(2 years ago) Goal : 12.00 seconds
200 M - 26:14 seconds(2 years ago) Goal : 20.21 seconds
Long Jump - 4.65 Meters.(2 years ago) Goal : 5.00 Meters
High Jump - 1.35 Meters.(2 years ago) Goal : 1.50 Meters
Lol I know those goals are giant but well, this is my god-given talent.

You could go to the International Championships with a time of 20.21 and be in the top 10.

lol I could go farther, I'm Canadian not American. I'm trying to get into the olimpics with 100 M or Long Jump.
To go to the Olympics you need to be in the top 3 in your nation and have achieved the minumun time set by the IAAF.
That wont be too hard, it's Canada lol what do you expect
. It's too bad that I won't be able to do that but it's worth a try.
Yea, I run Cross Country and Track.
It's funny, I run 3 mile Cross Country, yet I run 100M in track. Go figure...
100M: 11.2.
3 Mile: 20:05.
I would've probably been on Varsity Track had I not quit, but still need to be a bit faster to get on Varsity Cross Country. That's my only real goal, no time goals.
I'm guessing that you've never ran an 800m or 1500m race? With those times, I would put you to run the 800 mts.
I really wanted to run 800m's but we only had 600s and 1000s. That made a difference on my choice. But if I do join track next year, I'll probably join the 2 mile. I like running distance.
I used to run 100 meter and relay and 200 meter. However that was about 5 or so years ago.
I used to do track...I was one of the best top runners. That is why I was a good RB when I was an RB in football. But now I play safety and RB in singleback formation.

I run XC and track
1 mile : 5:30 <-- eh i should do better
2 mile : 12:00
3 mile : 18:30
actually someone from my XC team made a site and he put all our XC stats onto it.
I'd wish my school had a Track site in which to put the times we did in recent competitions. I had to wait from Friday to today to learn that I did 23.01s in the 200 meter on friday.
also someone from another town we faced last year could run a 10.5 i think its .5 but i know its in the 10. something anyways he can run like 10.5 100 meter dash
If he runs around 10.5s in the 100mts and he's only in High School, that kid is going places. Anything under 11.00 is extremely good, with 10.22s you could go to the 2004 Olympics, so I guess that kid would go to International Youth Championships and do pretty good, almost top 20 guaranteed.
you guys are making me feel slow as a sprinter
I get the girls in football adn track
I have respect for anybody who is decent at X-Country, the running in that is crazy
. I'm a sprinter myself and I'd prolly do some running events during track season but it overrides with my club soccer season so I choose to play soccer instead.
I was thinkin' about signing up for track this semester but i said fark it, the way i always do.
But I've found a strange interest in aerobic running recently, sprinting down my road at 1:36 AM and then downing half a bottle of dr pepper within seconds.
Feels pretty damn good. I was always shizty at the mile though, but the 1/4 miles and 100 meter sprints i wasnt bad at.
I'll post times once my school finally does that again (should be soon, spring mile coming up)
