Staredit Network -> Miscellaneous -> outstounding victory for me

I was playing on snowball wars (redemption) on b.net, it was me and someguy against someone else. At first I thought this was going to be an easy win (since I'm so good at snowball wars); turns out my teammates crappiness offset my uberness. He kept attacking his bunker and just kept feeding him; then, my teammate leaves...When he left the score was
him: 41 kills
me:somewhere around 70-80 kills
enemy: around 170-200 kills
So yeah, things not looking good; I'm hunkered down at my base thinking he's gonna send a wave to press me into my bunker, but he doesn't, instead he clumps men at two of the three choke points. Finally I get a break and one of my remaining ling scouts found a large force going to the third choke area, i gathered lots of units and just massacred him! This attack put me over 90 kills which got me careless snowballs (infested terrans) now I could exploit his clumping easily... I mass murdered his men at the bottom choke and gained enough hero selectors to gain a science vessel and irraditate his forces in the middle and my reaver to kill the rest in there. Finally I was on the offensive, and unlike him I didn't clump men at the choke points, but did what he should have done, and pressed him into his bunker area, and well, pretty much won the game after that. (man I wish i saved the replay) biggrin.gif

Now, do you guys have any stories about awesome victories from hopeless situations, if you do please share. (it doesnt't have to be about starcraft)

Yeah, I've got one.

Several months ago (maybe even before I joined SEN), I was playing a custom game of WC3 called "Tides of Blood". It's a game where two teams of heroes fight eachother and level up and must destroy the other team's tower to win. It's more complicated than that, but that's the jist of it. Anyways, I was playing a 4v4 game and one of my teammates must've been 12 because one of our opponents just kept insulting his mother and eventually he got mad and left. Then my two other team mates dropped out on me because they didn't like the unfair game...

So I was left ALONE against 4 guys. Normally, I'd just drop out too. But Tides of Blood used to be a really popular custom a few years ago and I really liked it. However, its popularity had declined severely. I hadn't played a decent game in at least a year. I made up my mind to fight until I had nothing left. I just kept on and on and on. They were sneaky illegitimate childs, but I had some tricks up my sleeve too. After more than an hour (and hearing them say: "Why won't you just die!?") I finally overpowered their defenses and destroyed their tower. I couldn't believe it. I still watch the replay from time to time.

I was polite about my victory too. As their tower's hit points got down to about 5%, I simply typed "gg". After a few seconds, all of them did the same. The end.
