I don't know Starforge, but I know unit editing: bear in mind that the tank has a body and a turret, and that the regular and siege mode tanks are counted as two separate units.

You don't need the Seige Ability as researched to put a tank as a seige tank biggrin.gif . But, you may need to place a seige tank turret, but it may not work right...

ADDITION:
Sorry, ignore my last post. I dont have Starforge Plus, but I do have Starforge. The Terran Siege Tank(Tank Mode) and the Terran Siege Tank(Siege Mode) are two different units.

To change the tank damage (along with that of the goliath) you go to the "unused" section. There you will find the tank turret and goliath turret and you can edit the damage there.

Lol Unit properties don't work on starforge, i think special unit abilities don't work as well, im not 100% sure tho.

I just assumed that the "cna" was a can't because why would you tell us that you CAN set the damage we don't need to know so I just told ae)fenrir how to set the damage incase it really was a problem.

Also, try to leave the Default Research unchecked and leave the Default Available checked and just set the bottom ones to Available and Researched an uncheck Uses Defaults.

The abilities work just fine for me.. but I don't use SFPlus
To edit its damage, go into the Tank/Goliath/Whatever settings and uncheck Use Defaults.
Then go to the Unused and find the matching "Turret" (E.g.: Tank Turret, Goliath Turret, etc.) and uncheck Use Defaults. Then change what you want, and recheck Default.

Works for me.

Just curious is it possible to have an immobile turret on the ground that attacks sorta like a defense structer? tongue.gif

No; individually placed turrets will crash Starcraft.

Unless you use a glitch to get rid of the base. I have done it before tongue.gif
But it often crashes.

O farty, explain to fenrir( and me drool.gif ) how to do that.

i think to do that you disable doodad state for the turret then remove the base. this usually crashes sc but it worked for me like twice. also, to have siege tanks default siege mode researched, you go to players, then to the technologies page, etc. place a sieged tank somewhere on the map, (owned by any player) and it should work.
