I'm about a seven. I love our troops, and I've gotten violent (ONLY ONCE) when someone bad talked our troops. Now, based on where you live, your opinions may be different. And I do not mean souly in Iraq, I mean where ever they are needed.

I love our troops! wub.gif

i'd go with a 7, i'd support and like them, but i wouldn't support them going into a useless war...sending them into war just to die with no real purpose is useless(as of i think right now)...

but yeah, i'd support them what i think is good

2. I dislike the troops, although I know it's not their fault they were thrown into an unnecessary war by their incompetent president.

Well I live in alaska, where military forces occupy about one quarter of the population. I dislike them greatly, as they don't contribute to our city very positively, and most of our local violent crimes are involved in some way to the military. Sorry if this is badmouthing them or anything, its just that I know a first hand account of what military personell are like when they aren't doing their job.

I support individual troops 100%, I disagree with the few men that give them orders.

5 - I am glad that there are people over fighting to help defend our country and spread democracy, but I don't take much notice to the military issues right now (mainly because it's starting to get old).

That's basically what I was going to say. How troops can willingly risk there lives for a war they may not even support is enough reason to support them while they're out there.

I am an eight. I don't care if anywhere our troops are sent whether it's just or not, I would be damned if I didn't support our troops.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by (DI)Yulla on 2006-03-14 at 23:43:57
We gotta support them. It isn't them who is doing the wrong stuff. It is the brains of these operations who are doing the wrong stuff. They are ordered to do stuff. I support my troops although I don't support what Bush has created over at the Middle East.

10. Men are risking their lives for a cause. They're doing it for the country they so dear love. I love my country, I'm proud of it, and I will ardently support the troops.

I voted for a 1 because I'm not American and because I think the War in Iraq is a joke.

Doest thy country have soldiers nought?

Whether or not Canada has a standing army (which it certainly does) is irrelevant; he doesn't 'support' the American soldiers.

(God damn I hate the phrase 'Support our/the troops'..)

Meh. Either you're joking, you're an optimist, or I'm a pessimist tongue.gif.
I'd say 5.. I don't particularly like the U.S. Troops, but they do protect the country (Though if it's out of greed or because of why MA said, I don't know), and they do risk their lives. I hate Bush and some other 'commanders', though.

Yea, but they are not the ones fighting. They are the order-givers who orders soldiers to do such things. As mentioned earlier, they are risking their lives to protect their own countries. It isn't American infantry army who is doing bad stuff, it is Bush and other idiots who are doing bad stuff.

I don't see why'd you NOT support the troops. It's nothing to do with the current project.

What if they're not fighting for a cause?

What if some idiot is just throwing them out there for no reason?

(Hypothetically speaking; I'm not trying to relate the question to anything that's happening right now.)

Well if they're not fighting for a cause then I think they better ask themselves why they're in the armed forces again. I believe everyone whose in the military should always have a cause: to serve their country (Unless they got drafted or something, which nowadays I haven't really heard of, unless I'm living in a hermet shell.)
But if they're doing something INSANELY irrationally stupid, such as attacking Canada or Mexico, then no. The probably of that happening is so low I guess it's safe enough to say that it's 0%.

Now if some idiot threw them out there, I would be mad at that idiot, not the troops.

Well then, those doing it for reason at least supply a margin of error to protect those who out their with a reason. Its the truth, and I'm sure many of you would agree with me...

You've is a contraction of "you have".

So actually, it's right. smile.gif
