Okay, so I was thinking of a mod for Stracraft. As you may guess from the title, it's about this: I was trying to set up a mod, where in special maps, you can enter text commands. Here's an example:
A marine walk up to a locked door, but one item in his inventory is a key for this door. As long as he's close enough to the door, the player can press enter and type in:
"Use _item "Key".
The door will open, and the marine will pass.
So, do you think that this is possible? And has anyone ever made a thread about it before (if someone has, sorry)? If someone could give me suggestions or help me make this mod (if possible) it would be grealy appreciated.

This does not require modding.
This can be achieved through UED conditions.
