I always wandered how people actually made Illys (for those of us that don't no what an Illy is, it is an illegal name on battle.net containing illegal characters such as @ , ^ , + , or starting or doubling one of these types of characters.) I know (or think) some were made b4 Battle.Net illegalizationd these characters. But how else are they made? Kinda just a quick question that i thought of.
I'm pretty sure that's the only way illys were made. Long ago, when Battle.net didn't "illegalizationed" illys yet.
You can't 'make' them now. They were patched long ago.
They are often traded or stolen, though. It's impossible to create one now.

But sometimes I see illys with like pretty recent clan names or clan tags in them. Is that just a cuwinsudens ?(yes i am the best speller!
)
You can't make illys, and I doubt it's a coincedince, maybe the clan actually was made back then.
You can't make them anymore, as for clan names, either the clan is really old or its just a coincidence that an old clan had the same tag.

Thats something also I was thinking, but still
You have to make them a long ass time ago before Battl.net made the characters illegal. You gotta do what I did, way back when. And make the account `BiG~kAhOoNa`. Strange... I haven't been on that account for like half a year and it still exists. Maybe Battle.net doesn't want illegal names to die?
I always thought it was a hack
.
I wonder why blizzard made most characters illegal?
Too hard to type in, maybe.
I think it was because it was too hard to report them for hacking or something. That's my guess.
Or maybe it was to leave the people who had illegal names to be the rulers of Battle.net.
Any name containing a censored word or the word Blizzard is technically an illy.
Or the word patch.
All mine were stolen.
"(B.M.)Toaster" (from an old clan my friends made and me and my brother joined).
"(S)ome(O)ne...." (my favorite account.. It was stolen so I needed a new account. My friend suggested "Farty" so that is what I used. Wait, I still use that.)
A few weeks after I made "(S)ome(O)ne...." is when they made that kind of name illegal. I had a bot to go along with it.. but I forgot what its account was. Now my bot's name is O)BeaNy1billion.
Edit: Wow that was completely pointless and random. Yes they were made before they were made illegal. My friend still has his from the (B.M.) thing, my brothers got deleted same with the rest of us.
We should protest and force blizzard to change them back to being legal. If they refuse, we can BLOW THEM UP BOOOMMMMM ya
I wish I had an illegal account...
