I was thinking about it, and I've made quite a few betting games in my time, so I decided to share a few.

Business Poker - Best with three or more people. (unless you like really expensive pots) What you do, is you play a round of 5 card draw or something, and bet just like a regular game of poker. But at the end of the match, instead of taking the pot the winner of the match takes a card and lays it faceup att their area of the table. Then repeat another game (it doesn't have to be the same one.) At the end of each round the winner gets a card from the top of the deck. With these cards you try to make hands. The rules with these drawn cards are: you can trade any number of cards to any player as long as both players agree. You can trade two cards from your allotment for one off the top of the deck. You can trade in 5 cards to remove a card from another player. You cannot have over 8 cards.

Basically its like a massive game of poker based off of smaller winnings.

Lucky Coin - A simple game against a dealer. You bet a certain amount, and flip a coin. If the first coin is tails, you lose what you bet. If its heads you flip again. If second coin flip is tails you keep your original money, but make none. If the second coin is heads you flip again. If the third coin is tails you keep twice as much as you bet. If the third coin is heads you flip again. Doubling the amount won each time.

This game is fun because theres a slim chance to make loads of money, at the cost of losing only what you bet. The problem is knowng when to quit, as its quite addictive.

Who's got the pot - Quite a different game from many card games I've seen. Basically the idea behind it is that you can grab the pot at any time you want, but you may want to check the consequences. Grabbing the pot means that you cannot grab the pot next game. You must play through and meet the bid, but you cannot win. So is it better to grab the pot or let it sit? The game itself varies for whatever we want, but its a fun betting method.

I've made several others, but I forget them a lot too.
I was wondering if anyone else has made up any card games, board games or other things of that sort?

Nope, but if it matters, I used to draw my own form of Digimon and Pokemon. I was ~ 8 years old, too. I named the game, Ranchums. XD

Ah, I did a ton. I created elaborite card games and my friends and I would play them. There would be different sets and rarities and everything. One day during lunch, I made 13$ just selling the paper cards I made. It was a big thing for a time and was awesome.

In high school I made an rpglike thing where there was a book of white paper, and I drew worlds on each one, and people would browse through it and play games and purchase items and they each had a character to train, and we had a lot of people in the school playing it. Good stuff.

untitled - Grab bladeless hockey sticks or poles, get a good terrain area and fight. It looks really cool when people are good.
