They arent very overprotective. They really dont care what i do as long as i stay out of trouble and get good Grades (By trouble i mean drugs, cigs, alcohaulic shiz, etc.) and i get good grades. So they arent very protective. Because i dont do anything wrong!

i think most parents are overprotective or overcaring...thats how kids gets spoiled...they can get way overprotective into every aspect of your life,on what you eat,things that effect your health,just everything...and i bet it is annoying...they nag you and they don't respect your privacy... but i do everything in my own way, going to college and working, and they still nag me on the phone...

Parents are acting like stupids because they had to go through the hard times. And because they don't want their sons and daughters to feel that, they become overprotective, making their sons and daughters spoiled and uncaring.
Yea, I would say that some parents have gotten too protective. But this will change as the new generation (we) start having children.

Heh, I don't think my parents are overprotective in anyway, I go and leave the house whenever as long as it isn't the middle of the night and they know where I am. I don't have a limit for how long I should be on the computer or anything like that and they don't know anything about my private life, they probobly don't care either. But, if they found out I was doing drugs or I got someone pregnant, then they would probobly care.

The difference between my parents and your parents are just sickening... Lets just say my parents are about the exact opposite of yours. They catch me escaping at middle of night, they would care even if I make out with a girl, they would also care of my grades...

My parents don't really care alot of what I do unless I do those things you guys mentioned. They only care when I play too many games (which is a lot less than many other people) but I don't game that much anymore so it isin't an issue anymore. As long as they know that I'm done all the higher priority things they let me go out and etc and that they can contact me when they need to.
