I like StarForge, but I like X-tra more!
My favorite editor is SCMDraft2
I use a hacked up staredit.
SCXE is the Best, Starforge crashs every 3 minutes cause its a shizty program >:), and i use SCMDraft for square tiles anyway. So what is the point of Starforge?

I made Woodenfire Island Episode 1 with Starforge. Nothing else even the terrain. Starforge has the most easiest trigger editor I've ever seen.
Come on guys this topic isn't about which editor is better, it's about which is your favorite
starforge, im mainly a terrainer, so even though its not too stable, starforge is still very nice with terrain and triggers, and it has brushes too...
I use Starforge in the morning, I use Starforge in the night.
I use Starforge in the afternoon, and then I feel allright.
I use Starforge in time of peace, I use in time of war.
I use Starforge before I use Starforge, and then I use it more.
StarEdit > SCMDraft2 > SCXE > Starforge
However I voted for SCMD2

No program bashing...but anyways I like scmd the best because of the trig editorSCXE. The text triggers work.
In terms of triggers - X-Tra
In terms of Terrain - StarForge
In terms of good terrain, more capibilities and the whole package - DRAFT.
[sub]I make melee maps, so I keep it simple with Staredit. I also will use Starforge when I amek extended bridges/ramps.[/sub]
Starforge.
Best Bound Maker. Ever.
SCMDraft because i can do good terrain, and triggers at the same time! SF to buggy.
I dislike SF because of the triggers, but I use it to easily stack stuff. For everything else, there's SCMD
.
I swear, SCXE has nothing to offer anymore. Nothing..
Hmm, SCXE got nothing to offer?...
well, this is how i make meh maps and i use SCXE quite often =P
SCXE For Triggerworking
SCMDraft for Terrain and 3D Buildings, and of course whacky doodad places XD
yeah...Thats the 2 editors i use. I Like SCXE more then SCmdraft Tho.
I use SCXE.
Golden-Fist can tell you why.
I'll make him.
I like Starforge. I like the way it does triggers, it has no problem with unit placements (which does present the problem of units going out of the map boundaries, but this is easy to spot and fix) and other stuff that other editors would yell at you for, it's good to stack stuff with, and it's good for terrain. I'm not sure if any other editor can do square terrain, but I saw Starforge do it first and I'm sticking with it.
I don't understand how people encounter so many errors with it. The only one that I have seen is when you make a window small enough so that the controls on it would have a negative size. But you have to try to do that and it's not like you would want to do it anyways...
I use StarForge, StarEdit, Xtra Base Mode, and FartyEdit.
FartyEdit is now my normal editor; next comes StarForge, Xtra, then StarEdit.
Yes, I use my own editor. Why wouldn't I?
Edit: Also somewhere in that list is Hex Editing. I use that to do quite a bit.
i prefer starforge

lol hawk u dont even use that, u have no clue how to make maps then why would u use that
Don't know how to make maps is a pretty general statement.
I could replicate every Blizzard UMS map, most likely. I couldn't make a lot of these new maps, with death counters, and stuff like that. I don't make maps anymore, due to lack of motivation and skill.
SCXE=NOOB=DEATHAWK.
End of story.
I like Starforge and Starcraft X-Tra Editor. I use Starforge for making the swuare tiles and all that, while I make the triggers with the Editor.
