Alright. im sure All of you know what the big bang theory is. How one day the universe just was THERE. how all of a Sudden the universe was the size of a Marble (or smaller, i am Unsure.) and then it just Suddenly became as large as it is Today. but the Scientists contradict themselves in a Way. since all scientists say that you cant go Faster then the speed of Light. (because the molecules break down) (or at least i think thats the Reason) and if the Big Bang happened. and the universe was just Created. wouldnt everything have to go Faster then the speed of light to Create the universe in (i forget the number, it was like 1/1000000th of a Second or something) The scientists contradict themselves constantly...and Im not sure what to think. Does this mean the big bang is just abunch of BS?,
I Dunno...Personally i dont believe in it, I Think its just something that scientists made up to replace the bibles' version of creation. But i dunno, few people are like me. So what do you guys think?
There's a difference between contradiction and updating information. The Bible never really changes, so anything said in it that's some form of contradiction will always be there. Scientific theories, methods, and data require an inherent flexibility to stay current. And no, it's not some conspiracy to upstage creationism. The big bang theory has been around since before the conservative revolution spearheaded by Reagan.
1) Following the Big Bang, the universe expanded at the speed of light.
2) If the Big Bang theory has holes, whatever you believe in has craters.

The universe wasn't made in a second. It expanded at a "fast" pace for galaxies that is. It's wrong for some other reasons, but this isn't one of them. Also I think you're overing looking how fast the Speed of Light is, you can't go AT the speed of light, however it's possible to get rather close to it. In which would still be really god damn fast.
The reason the Big Bang theory is wrong is because apparently everything gains speed, everyday. However there was a discovery of (Plannet or Galaxy) that was moving at an average speed, however a (plannet or galaxy) behind it (Meaning closer to the center of the universe) was moving faster then the object in front of it. According to the big bang theory that isn't possible. But they're only theories.
I hate religion. Because I hate religion, I believe in Big Bang theory. It is the most believed out there besides the religion and how the universe was created. Well that is why the Big bang theory is a theory not law. If it was law, then it couldn't have been disproved.
I agree with DTBK. Big bang mistakes are almost negligible in comparison with other theories out there.
You know, if religion was really proven wrong, nobody would be believing in it rite now... -_-
And, of course it's a "theory" but it's a different theory that you're thinking of... YOu think theory is a guess, but the Big Bang is a "theory" as in it HASN'T been proven right 100%, but it's pretty damn close. WAAAY different form a frickin hypothesis.
technically, scientists said particles with mass can't go faster than the speed of light c^2=E/m where m is 0 (z0mg divide by zero error!!!!WTF?!?!?)
massless particles have been theorized...and i dont remember how much the universe expanded in that short a time....could've been, like, a tiny amount initially, then it expanded further
Let me ask another Question, since the universe Wasnt created Instanty like you guys are saying (if you believe in the big bang, which i dont.) Do you think its still being Created Bit by Bit now, expanding and thats why the universe doesnt end?
Actually it is growing and dieing at the same rate. :0 Just like a person. Except that scientists just said it Happened but who the hell knows what really happened. And I dont care I just try to be a good person.
well what scientists and astronomers believe, the universe was created through a huge explosion probably what your referring to. its said that our solar system was created through the solar nebulae thing or theory which is about heat, gas, and clouds of dust smashing into each other...they believe this can also have happened withthe universe...but you can't really prove the birth of the universe since no one was around that time...but its just evidence on how it happened

Be quiet Neiji. We don't need religious slander in here

But I agree with you.
I believe in the big bang theory. And I also believe that once the universe gets big enough, it is going to implode on itself, like a super nova would, creating a "neutron star" (The little marble thingy you guys talk about) then the big bang would happen again, and then it would repeat, and blah blah blah.
But these are only theories. They haven't been proven.
note that. once the universe began, there WAS no molecule, there was ENERGIES. learn the freaking theory before starting it. and ENERGIES cannot be deteorated or whatever. they don't disperse, they just travel. ( not marble it was a size of a pin = the pin you see on your pinhammers. ) and when time gradually passed, photons and protons met up with neutrons then became molecules.
The Big Bang Theory doesn't say how the Universe was created, it states how it came to it's current state.
The Big Bang Theory starts with an explosion begining at 1 millionth of a millionth of a second after the Universe we know today was created. Then the whole atomic expansion, molecule forming, dust clouds speeding away from the center and all that stuff that you should know before posting here.
There is no flaw with the Big Bang Theory, the theory starts working at 1 millionth of a millionth of a second after the Universe we know today was created. This is because Mathematically, there is a Singular Charge during that period, we don't know if it still exists before that instant, in with all Laws of Physics don't work Mathematically. The force of gravity is so astronomical, that atoms and sub-atomic particles could not possibly exists because there would be no space and thus no force on which to act upon or to be acted upon. Since there is no space, there is no atoms and then there would be no mass and therefore no energy. Therefore you have gravity acting upon nothing and space would bend on it's own, am impossibility by Einstein's gravitational theory.
Mass can be converted into energy and energy can be converted into mass, but neither one can be created. E=mc[sup]2[/sup]
A galaxy closer to the center can be going faster than one farther away. This is simple, another galaxy might've gotten close to the first's orbit and thus the galaxy is starting to fall on the bended space (gravity) of the first galaxy and since F=ma, and since all mass bend the space around them with force, all galaxies have mass, we would have a resultant acceleration.
It all makes perfect sense up to the Singularity Charge.
The Big Bang Theory is the only scientific way of explaining how the universe began. Since I am a science person and all I believe in aer things that are backed up by proof in science! One reason because GOD, yes im sorry for these people that do, I dont believe in him! He didn't make the universe. All that just is another myth. Theres a lot of myths out there but this one his the biggest. GOD created earth. Ummm, No he didnt!!!!!! Just like god crearted man right. WRONG!!! There is firm evidence that humans evolved over many years from the creature we now call the (Ape, Gorilla, Monkey) which ever one you want to think! Science states that these are correct and I believe these! Are you gonna believe some old guy that died a million years ago who said, GOD created everything, No becuase that guy was probly still walking on all fours and had no teeth. This guy probably had a piece of animal covering his junk. Or are you going to believe the most top suffisticated people of our time, Scientists! I dont know its your choice!
This also goes on of how the universe is still growing! Yes our universe that we are in is still growing. Scientists using very powerful Spectroscopes see galaxies that are reflecting red glow. You are probably thinking, what does that mean? Well if that galaxy was reflecting green light, this would mean that the galaxy was moving towards us. But red means that it is traveling further from us. In every direction the galaxies are showing red, which means that, Space as we call it is actually growing. Just like everything else that started very tiny, like humans! Poeple think that the Big Bang Theory must be wrong because there is now way two elements running into each other at high speeds could create a blast to form our universe. Well something that occurs right here on earth that you would have to think twice about, that happens every day. A child being born. Did you know the embryo that is what, at 14 weeks is 1 mm in length. Get your ruler out and see how small that is! Ya tiny!!!!!! Thats at 14 weeks, now in about 15 years or so, that exact baby will be between 5 feet tall and 6 feet tall. Now you think well ya thats in 15 years. Well, if somebody was, if you blinked during the Big Bang it would just be there, It takes time, and assuming how fast it is traveling we could make this idea. But no one does! But from humans evolving over 7.5 billion years after the world was created, We know everything takes time! That is why the universe is enormous! And to this day it is still growing!!!!!! I believe in the Big Bang Theory!!!!
Read this!!!!!!!!!
Dont skip it!!!!!!
You might think oh thats a lot to read!!!!!
Well, Ya but you might learn something!!!!!
I am not any scientist!!!!!!
I just happen to know a lot about the universe and I have a 99.3% average over the 2 years of HONORS Science as a Freshman and Sophomore in High School!!!
SO ya, Read it!!!
Uhh I dont really belive it but I kindof do. Who knows if it got bigger we could just be really small and the galexy could really be like the size of a marble still

That's a different theory on whether or not it ends. The big bang theory sort of contradicts that, if the universe doesn't end, how can it expand. But yeah, if you actually read the Big Bang Theory then you'd know it says that the universe is expanding.

Not from a few lightyears away, maybe 100 miles, if you're lucky.
QUOTE(7-7)
Stuff
Get rid of you ! key.
Actually, the gravitational pull from a single object spreads accross the whole universe. This is why the entire universe's space is bended, but the force or bend is so weak, that it's not noticeable at all, and mathematically, well, you could write it in scientific notation, but then the exponent would be too large.

It kinda depends on.. Are you looking at it as it is now expanding, or do you mean it by as if the space sprung out of nothing?hey, if you can make sense of it, maybe you'll get a nobel prize
I am forced to believe that, the universe was just THERE

Then, a person named God said some magic words, and stuff appears. I don't think that could happen, but it could.

He meant get rid of your "! key", which translates to "stop using so many exclamation points." Your seemingly irrational exuberance greatly disrupts the flow of what you said in the prior post.
ahhh i get it now. Thanks for explaining it to me. I'll try not to use it anymore! Except for right there, because that proves my point. Get it?
Ok good.
It depends what Big Bang theory you are talking about. There is the classic sudden, unexplainable existence, and there is another which I recently heard about. From my understanding of the other theory, all the black holes combine and eventually suck in every bit of matter in the universe and then explodes, thus recreating the universe. I have to say that this theory seems really logical, yet it doesn't quite answer how the universe was created. I don't think the universe just appeared, I think it simply exists.

Two different theories can't be named the same thing, well they probably can, but one as popular as "The Big Bang" theory probably won't be copied.
The one you're talking about is the Osilating (<-- That's not spelt right) Universe which has been proven wrong. It has the same beginning as "The Big Bang" but instead of saying the universe expands it eventually reachs it's point and gets sucked back in recreating the beginning all over again. However everything is moving away from the center of the universe at a faster rate then it was yesterday, which is impossible according to the Osilating theory. Also it didn't have anything to do with Black Holes, just the universe's gravity sucking everything back to one spot again.
