You guys said you would help with the DLDB if needed for. Well, now is the time.
And I sent Minimoose a pm about my issues with the DLDB team, but I'll share it with you guys as well. I think we need more reliable DLDB keepers. Rantent voyager and pcfredz haven't done jack for the past... several weeks. A few weeks ago I did a HUGE batch of them, which accumulated because none of us touched it for a while. It was quite some work so I hoped that they would handle the next few maps so that I could have a break. Apparently, they failed, so I have to do it yet again... And this time the list is twice as large (So far I'm only half way done... and that's probably as much as I can handle for one day considering that I am on a comp that can't host games with other ppl.)
Yell at them please. Thanks.
Ok, I decided to bring up this in the forum because it's much more efficient than sending a whole bunch of different PM's to everyone.
I've always been fond of having everyone do at least 1 file per day so that this kind of stuff doesn't get out of hand as it always has.
I propose that the "Active DLDB Keepers" do 1 file a day. I know that not everyone logs on everyday, but I do know that we get less files per day than the amount of DLDB Keepers, so we would just get those left-over files another day until we have none.
I know that my secondary job on SeN is to manage the DLDB if needed, but quite frankly, I reformated my computer about 2 weeks ago and I no longer have Starcraft installed and the CD is no longer in my possesion, but with a friend. I could just install SCMDraft2, TriggerViewer and another program that I cannot reveal, but most of you know about it to start checking maps. I could the .wavs easily.
So what's the plan?
