SC X-tra editor just started messing up whenever a select the Location variable in any of my actions. It says SC X-tra has generated errors and will need to be restarted. I'm guessing this has something to do with a location bug I heard about earlier or something. Anybody encountered this before or know what to do?
Most times when people get the location bug it is because they created it in starforge and failed to name the location. Although Starforge 2.0 automaticly names them it is less likely. Anyways you have a corrupt location.
I just opened it in starforge, resaved, and rebooted and it seems to be working fine. How do I detect which location is corrupt?
Is it still crashing? If all your locations have a name, then you have the old fassion location bug (check the list of locations). I don't know how to fix it if you have the standard location bug, I don't even know how people get it in the first place I have never had it happen yet i know people who have had it happen to them like 4 times.
GUEdit has a "Fix Location Bug" feature, which I've used sucessfully before. Try that out.
It happened to me when I used scmd1, it corrupted locations sometimes. GUEdit location fix feature was for the maps that scmd1 corrupted.

Kicks wall, damn it why do people tell me stupid stuff*
Back to normal: Maybe i should figure out how to create the location bug or at least get a map with it. I knew GUedit had the feature but i have never had the oppertunity to try it.
