Nope. I keep my carpet clean and I like the feeling of having my foot breathe freely. Not to mention that I come from an asian family.
I almost always have my shoes on. Since I really only take them off to shower or sleep, I get tired when I have them off. Keeping them on helps me stay motivated to finish work for some odd reason.
It's strange, on every american sitcom everyone has shoes when they're inside! And in Sweden, I have never seen anyone who uses shoes inside!
God no, that'll ruin the carpet.
[sub]I hate wearing shoes, I keep them off whenever I can.[/sub]
Most white families' houses I've been to, they always have their shoes on.

I'm not white.

Damn that is so true...well the only families I've gone to that do wear shoes in the house were white...
And I don't wear any shoes in my house because I want to floors to be clean. I clean the floors once a week already, don't want to do it more than that.
I believe in common courtesy, so no.
I do when I'm in my house, usually because I usually need to put them on after so it's not worth it to take them off and put them on all over again. It's more comfy too.
Nope. I respect my parents and I wouldn't do it if they didn't care anyhow (they don't care actually). I take my shoes off before I take 2 steps in the house.
It's really god damn cold in my house so yeah.
If you are cold wear socks -.-
I never wear my shoes inside, and I rarely even wear my socks inside.
My feet like to be free and breathe.
And wtf, shoes get so damn dirty and nasty.

Amen
w/e i wear shoes in my house and im mexican not white.
idk i do take em off on occasions but i tend to lose them so often...
do moccasins count as shoes? then yes
My shoes are practically meh feet.
Well now, it seems by all the asian users here, that Im an ass for wearing shoes. First, my shoes are usually clean, and if they arent, then they be off. And if Im in some dudes house and my shoes are clean, YES, I will wear them. If im told that I should take off my shoes, I shall. Okay? Its not evil to wear shoes, alright? Common courtesy, DTBK? Im so sorry!! Im an idiot!
I Got some nice carpet and i wanna keep it that way, so no!
I don't understand why someone would wear shoes in their house, first of all it feels uncomfortable and not to mention it isn't all that great for your feet to wear shoes 24/7. As well as that, it's almost impossible for your shoes to be clean if you wear them outside.
Normal shoes feel uncomfterable... Mine are different...
And even heard of wiping your feet?
The only time I ever wear shoes is to school, and boots in the winter. In the summer I don't where shoes at all. T3h BlAckfeet.

Well I don't tread through mud everyday like 16 people on SEN. My shoes are basically clean, there's no dirt you can see. Yeah there's probably some dirt that will end up in the 3 carpets I have over a few years, in which I can vacuum once and i'm set. Also Unconfortable? Try getting new shoes then buddy. If your shoes are being squeezed to your feet you have small/bad shoes. Also what's "not great" about wearing shoes inside. You make it sound like if you don't wear shoes and expose your feet to stepping on tacs and cracks in the floor is good for your feet.
And as I said before, it's really cold, even with thick wooly socks. Also there's a chance that at any given moment my mom can go physcopathic and starting yelling, in which I make a quick escape to the door and try to ignore the loud noises in the backround.
