I peel it off slowly trying not to rip the paper. You can always re-use them like that

I usually try to peel them off but since people in my family dont just tape something normally I usually just get fusterated and rip it off

Eaxctly. Except half our wrapping paper tears anyway since it's 25 years old and has been used 40-60 times.

I don't really pay attention, I just rip it randomly, kind of small rip, then I grab the part thats already ripped and rip vertically.
