You can edit a unused unit, but adding new units requires a ton of editing and would be useless after a new patch

right, u can edit units within inside unit Memory offset
if u want add new offset of unit then maybe have to reprograming or Crack to EXE file to expand units number

What they said. There is no editor capable of adding units / weapons / spells etc. You'd have to learn ASM and spend a few months hacking to do that

Then you'd end up broke when they sue you. Editing unused units is simpler. There are quite a few of them, like the Independent Starport and Merc Biker. There's even a bunch of unused Gauss Rifles that you can edit, and no one actually cares what the names of the AI scripts are. So you can't make a completely new unit, but you can come darn close.

Yes, to do so you must learn to hex edit well. Or wait till someone makes a program for it. There used to be one, it got outpatched. Simple solution, it's more work than it's worth. Just use unused units.

Actually there are enough unused things on starcraft for you to create a new unit there are lots of gauss rifle unuseds, there are even mem actions and everything for you to create new buttons, creating new grp frames and iscripting them would not be easy but anyways you can do it if you are really good at modding
