I like all Microsoft
But My favorite is Dell and Compaq
The Problem is my new laptop I got
Is a Gateway so I just have to put that!
Dell, every computer in my house is a dell. i used to have a gateway a long time ago, it cost 2k and now its worth nuthing so my parents jsut gave it away
We've had a Gateway thats been running for like 4 years now...
But yeah.. I'd like to hear what people have to say... especially on laptops since I'll be purchasing one soon for College...I've been looking at Dell's but idk...
Me
AKA Authorized Personell
Ya get a dell laptop, thier nice
Not too expensive and they run clean and good!
I highly ercommend it
My new Gateway Laptop runs better than my Compaq Desktop
Microsoft does not make computers... They only make software for computers. I don't have any preference between those companies but I do like Microsoft.
dell makes solid computers....they are underrated
except when you buy dells from dell, then u get ripped off. and all of their customer service representatives are foreign for some reason...well, i dont know about the other companies either...
i have a dimension desktop, and an inspiron 6000...i went to barnes and nobles the other day...and saw like 4 people with the same model
dell is a good computer company...kinda cheap on them as commercials shows...but not sure of the quality, we use emachines and compaq laptop performance is ok. nice big hard drive and computer processing speed.
NONE NONE NONE!
Home made computers for teh win.
AMD + ATI + Kingston = gg.
Yeah, my computer is custom made too so it doesn't have any of those names one it. I only voted Microsoft for their software and not the computers that they don't make.
Dell for many reasons:
1) Most of the computers in my house are Dell
2) All of the computers in my school are Dell
3) Dell's headquarters are in Austin, which is where I live
4) Michael Dell went to the University of Texas at Austin (which I just got conditionally accepted into yesterday)
5) Dell computers just own.
Nice
How about,
I agree with al of you and every computer owns
as long as it works and can play a game and go online
It is the computer for me!
lol
you didnt include Samsung wangwad.
Dell bought Alienware.
Alienware is still going to operate as it did before, e.g., you won't see Dell written on your newly bought Alienware PCs.
However coincidentally the word Dellienware has been coined very recently for some strange reason.
I'll go with Apple computers seeing as I use them.
Also, this really should be in Null.
If in doubt - choose Null.
>>>Moved to Null
I build my own.
I got an amd fx60 for half the price on ebay and 250gb hard drive for 50 bucks at compUSA.
Alienware makes shizty comps. Waste of money. But case looks nice.
I have a top of the line E-Machines from Sept. 2005 and it works like a charm. It still goes as fast as it used to from th day I plugged it in.
All my computers are custom built.
I really like Acer but at my house I have a Dell and Emachines. You forgot Acer though so I'll vote for other. Beer_Keg, what kind of Emachines do you have?
BTW, how do you get a computer custom built? Do you have somebody that builds them for you and you just select the parts? And are there people that you could go to and tell them to just make you a computer with the best of the best?

Go to a store, buy a case. Then buy a motherboard, CPU, graphics card, and your basic harddrvie, fans, D: drive, and maybe more. ASsemble carefully, then boot on an OS.
Build your own computer
It's cheap, fairly easy (for most people) and you can get more out of it.
Hmm, seems like I would screw something up along the way. I'd probably have to find somebody to assemble one if I ever went custom.
Dell bought Alienware, and Dell as the XPS systems. So, dell atm for premades. But I'd rather custom make mine.
