Diplo - Infinity 2.1
This map has been in Beta testing for 3 months and is finally finished.
Diplomacy is a type of game where one starts out as a country and must conquer all of Europe to win. You can make or break alliance. Use diplomacy to win!
Specifications
Has 5 Modes you can select:
-Diplomacy Mode (Default)
-Insane AI Mode
-Axis & Allies Mode
-Ecnomics Mode
-"?" Mode.
Features
-Player Interface
There IS a newby help area set up within the map. ALL questions are answered there for people who haven't even played Diplomacy at all. Just use your Infested Terran and all answers will appear in MISSION BRIEFINGS.
-What's new in your map that others have not done before?
- This map has a LOT in it, just try her and you'll see..

Have you played Diplomacy Gold? My map has been in Beta testing for 3 Months.. it is anything but rushed.. What gives you that impression?

havent played it yet , but in diplomacy i really prefer high hp and low attack

Ah. Np. Kinda of like Blood & Iron. Heh. Well, my map doesn't follow that structure of High HP/Low Attack, BUT it doesn't have Low HP/High Attack, it's about half and half. But please, give my map a try, it's really fun.
This site could use more Diplomacy maps, there are SO many darn RPG's.

i truly love defenses but as only a little know my good friend Tk(o)Hannibal died and we were Diplomacy partners and we kicked ass. ever since he died i restrane myself to play diplo's. as only some may see in Slot TD at the bottom it says. R.I.P. Tk(o)Hannibal

Can you explain the economics mode? I ended up in a draw because of lack of "housing."

Sure. Remember for any help you need, please use your infested terran as the map clearly states. The text says: "For help, check MISSION OBJECTIVES"
More housing means that you must have 15 Supply Depots at ALL times. When you have 15 you won't get the message anymore. Just Check those Mission Objectives and all should be explained there.
Also, in the link where you DL'ed the map. There is a forum, go to the Diplomacy thread and there's a topic about ALL the modes in Diplo - Infinity 2.1. All is explained there as well.

The infested terran is labeled little helper guy or something like that, so I had no idea what to do with it. So if I just needed more housing, why did it end my game instead of taking away my men?

As I said before, it states in Gold/Yellow text "For Help, please check MISSION BRIEFINGS". All the instructions are there to get an explanation of Economics Mode. Your economy shrunk until it reached 0, if you reach 0 you lose. You have no more economy. If you want a complete indepth explanation of the Economics Mode please visit the Forums of the website that you DL'd it from, that is if you DL'd from this thread. Here's the link again:

Funny how all three of the top 4 threads in the map showcase were all replied to by their map creators. How about some feedback over on my side 
I checked it out... a bit excessive in areas and I had trouble with the layout of the map.. but otherwise pretty good. I still like 7.7 Gold better though, it's just a classic

If you are referring to geography, my map actually is much more accurate than Diplomacy Gold 7.7. If by excessive you mean it is difficult to expand, well, may philosophy on this map is to avoid newbage expansion in like 3 minutes. You'll actually have to use more strategy to expand on this baby. Also, this map (not this version) was out before Gold 7.x was so guess mine is more of a classic. hehehehe

With that said... the only countries that will propser are huge open ones, because you can't expand early on. That would be nice, if; All countries were big and open, but they're not. Mostly why I prefer 7.7

There are 2 types of countries in Diplo - Infinity 2.1. EZ ones and NonEZ ones. EZ ones are countries like Russia, Ukraine and Sweden. They are EZ to expand with. NonEZ ones are countries like Egypt, Portugal and Czech. These countries IF used CORRECTLY can be quite powerful, but few can master them. I wanted to make my map as accurate as possible, and just like in real life, not all countries are huge which is something common in Diplomacy Gold 7.7. I have played games where Bosnia has crushed Romania and where Estonia has pulverized everything.
