The title says it all, on 3/27/06 this happened (When i posted topic), I was supposed to leave at 12:45 but i got home at facking 1:50 ,im angry, wasted my day, we had lockdown cause at the high school alotta mexican kids were protesting on the issue on imigration laws , SO YEAH.. Angryness.. stuff like this ever happen to you, also post your thought on the lockdown and imigration laws, didnt put in serious discussion if i needed to

they usually shut down my school due to gas leaks, fires, floods, that kind of thing. Never any protesting of any sort, although, it would be entertaining.

I got a lockdown when a pissed guy was running towards the school with a hunting knife. They caught him no problem.

Lockdown... at my school... not even when there's:
No electrical power.
6 inches of rain outside.
Bathroom pipe burst and it spells like poo.
Police found drugs on school.
RAWRZ^_^;;! monster is on the loose.
Fire in the cafeteria. (They just send us to cement courts)
Someone throws a molotov grenade at a pidgeon.
But the moment someone starts a protest, they'll call the police and have them removed. Private schools suck.

I had a lockdown at my school last week...Some dude with a pistol ran in...Shot someone, but they dodged it xD
He was caught, sentenced to 5 years in jail.

I had a lockdown last year because somebody said there was a bomb in the school. It was cool because we got to leave early.

I just heard about the Mexian Protest about immigration on the news. My school hasn't been in a lockdown yet. They never close the school, not even on snow days. Only the buses get cancelled but I walk to school so my parents make me go to school anyways.

BTW, what is a minimum day? Do you mean have a shortened day? We call those half-days at my school.
