I choose RPG but i pretty much like them all.
RPG - Diablo series
Startegy - Starcraft, War III
Simulation - Secret Weap normandy
Action/Adv - Ghost Recon
Racing - right now none

I love puzzle games, especially RPGs with really hard puzzles. Wild Arms 3 had some mind-bending puzzles. I think that that's why I liked it so much.

FPS + RTS, if starcraft was addicting, this will swallow your mind...
of course the only game that does it so far is natural-selection -->
