Any pointers? do u get addicted or can it wear off? How often should i play to avoid anything dangerous? What are the best Races/Types?

Your going to love it, I got hooked 10 minutes into the game. Almost all characters are fun to play but rouges are the most fun in my opinon. If you want to get a little bit of everything pick a druid, but be warned in end game 90% of the time they force you to be a healing type druid.

You'll pretty much get addicted to WoW the moment you finish your first quest.

I'd really suggest a Hunter and/or Mage to play with, simply because those are the two classes which require you to micro the most while in battle.

All classes are good, it all depends on your play style.

here is my BEST advice from what i've seen

1:Dont get Hooked on it, it'll ruin your life i've seen it many times
2:Dont be an orc shaman

there are to many of those
3:Dont be a Night elf rogue either, thats too trendy

4:Did i mention not to get hooked on it?
5:Dont blow like 300$ on Gold, save it for something Real, like your Life maybe?
6:Yeah thats about it, Dont blow to much money, dont get Hooked on it, dont stay on your computer for 5 straight days in a row and kill yourself from overflow of gamingness. Thats about it yea

Points: Dont Get addicted, Dont blow to much money (save it for something real) and Dont kill yourself, Dont lose your friends over that shiz, and Come out of your room (or house) every once and awhile eh?

The servers our down over here, and everywhere right now.
Addiction is a good thing if you can handle it, try not to follow the crowd, also do PvP. Also, don't be a generic night elf rogue as stated.

Thanks guys, yeah im going to be a horde.. not sure which type, i tihnk ill go tauren or something, but yeah camo, the servers are down, im gonna have to wait

but yeah im gonna be a hunter, or archer right?

Yay, the game would be much greater if the battles weren't so...slugishly slow...

and TH ur comp sucks i guess, i run it on high and the only time it likes is during raids or rapid spell casting

No they dont...They rock at ranged...ITs just they need to make the meller slower...

I think he was talking about how it takes a long time to finish a battle. People have a lot of hp and all. Not the fram rate.

I'm probably getting WoW in 2 months.. I'm going to be either an Undead Warlock or a Human Warlock. Magical heroes always appeal to me more.

I have a 45 NE Druid, 19 Twink NE Rogue (still working on enchants), 24 Human Warrior and a 14 Gnome Mage. All on the Lightnng's Blade server.

On the new server Anetheron I have a 20 Tauren Shaman.
