First off, I would just like to say WTF? I could get on, but not do much more than that! Oh well, time healed this wound...for me.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone here is writing stories? I found out some interesting stuff if you actually have plans of finishing your stories the correct way, and I could give you a nice little website that I will have to refind...
I also want to take some time and add more stories to my little site's collection, because I would like to see more flavor than just FireKame's and Myselfs. Well, that's all...
(P.S.- I read everything before I put it up, that way crap doesn't get up on my site and ruin it more than I already have!)

flaming already probably knows about this, but I'm writing two things right now. Blue:Ultimatum you can find in my sig. Butterfly Technology is still under extreme construction, whereas Ultimatum is only under minimal construction. I have five chapters and a prologue up. go check it out, will yeah?

I should probably write novels, as everyone I know seems to think I have a great talent displayed in my school work (the only place where I have written fiction) for creative writing.
I'm not so sure though. Short stories are one thing, but novels are another. I don't think I could keep a plot running through a 200 page+ story for two reasons:
1. It's hard work to keep the reader interested in the plot.
2. I have a short attention span and would get bored of writing it.

Well, a collection of short stories would still be interesting, to say the least.
I have the same problem, I have a very short attention span. Just recently (Like withing the past three months) I have started three or four different "novels" (I refuse to call them that) but none of them have even gotten close to the ending.

There will probably be a huge difference in your writing style through the chapters that you've done so far, if you've taken that long to write it.

I have two stores both amount to around 250 kb together. One starts with the Zerg hunting down the UED ships after BW, and one is about Nova. It's ok stuff, just things I wrote late at night with nothing better to do. Needs a lot of work of course, even though people tell me I'm good at it.

Okay okay. Since I finally check back looking for my website post, I guess I will post it again here! Right now my site is kinda going through a destruction phase, so it is all in shambles! I mean, I took a lot of stuff down and wrote random stuff, but it is still up and running. the site is http://www.kingdomx.bravehost.com If the link doesn't work, just copy and paste! NEXT UP! I love thinking up ideas and I start like 30 novels in one month, but then I come back to other idea's I love to think about and start writing more. If you feel that you can't get through a large novel, I do take Short Stories! You even get your name listed under them in the category!
Fourth, I have only two BIG idea's going right now, and the other ones I change every now and then just for fun, such as CTFT (Capture the Flag Tournament, an insane story about three teams trying to capture eachother's flags, but their leaders are all idiots. I have actually had e-mails telling me to post more. They get annoying, but I sort of delete alot of them and go on with my life!) or Who Killed Mr. Smiley (A person who cannot be identified gets killed and it is up to this one detective to find out who killed him. It is odd and funny at the same time, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.) Getting back to my two BIG ideas, I am working on a story called Slipping into Darkness: Jungle, which is about a special forces team getting stranded in the middle of Africa. They find a large, black pyramid, and then all hell breaks loose as people think they are losing their imaginations! I am writing this book to show my crazy side, but I only have the first chapter up (REVISED EDITION! Based in current times, but everything will kind of change). However, I am currently writing chapter 4. I think I have had this idea for half a year. My other large idea is Hex 10. It is another odd book about a man who can basically turn his body to sand, then move it around (Like, make it fly). He is a prisoner, and it is his tale on escaping the best prison on Earth (Based in near future, Non revised edition[though I have that done])
Whatever number comes after 4. When we write books and then go back and edit them, no matter how many years we have been writing them, the time we edit them is what are writing style will be for the final copy. Besides that, it is better to see how we change over time.
Last, I might be changing the website, but I will give everyone here an update on that before. I like the place I found, but I don't want to copy and paste everything over!

I don't take horrible ideas, such as watching a man walk, but most ideas I will take. Personally, if you want a book about walking, read Bob's Extremely Long Adventure: Volume 1 (BELA for short!)

Listen, Just go to my web page after I actually start reworking it and it should all be good. Today I'm adding in a section for movies. It just tells you if they were good or not, seeing as I get into them for free and all.

I'm writing a novel currently, not about Starcraft though . I have _almost_ 150 pages done so far. Whew! I don't really think I'll ever write any SC fan fiction, mainly because I get bored with that kind of stuff too quickly. I wrote some Diablo 2 fan fiction at a forum once, but got bored and quit posting eventually. By the way, good luck with your novel, DT_Battlekruser! Stick with it man! Glad to see you're realistic about it, and don't expect to finish it with a month or two, like some people I know. It's hard, but fun and rewarding. So... gl hf

Yea! I work at the movie theater, so I see possible every movie I can. It is soo much fun! PLUS, I get to see all the movies I can the day before they come out! BINGO! I WIN~
