i'll do it when i have time. tell me what units u want buildigns to be.
You cant do a bridge that you can walk under and on it.

You might but you just couldn' walk 'on it exactly. I was thinking maybe having some terran buildin named bridge then just putting it 'in transit and having moving triggers at either end. Might work

You can use sprites for that.
Wasn't thinkin' about sprites...
Have high grond, or sprites, or whatever you want to make a bridge you can walk across, then have you teleport under the bridge.

r[s]t, just make it. I dont care about what the building will be. Just make it

I was thinking about that. I come with the decision that i wont make the bridge. Just a terrain that you can walk to the second part of the town. And the players can not walk under it.

i dont know about u buit i think this is the most logical solution
i tried making a golden sun map once.. but it didnt really work out..

I wasn't sure what to do about the rising snow cliffs at the top so I just ignored them

I tested the whole thing out with the firebats, and the only thing they don't like is the 2 rocks at the bottom end of the ice. Sometimes they go through, sometimes they take the long way round. You can't see them in the pic; they're below the bottom of the screen.
EDIT: Changed the pic so there are no start locations. Yes the ladder next to the little hill with a tree on it is wide enough for units, and they have to start at the bottom of it.
I tried. I couldnt get the top left corner to look right and gave up

.
I did get the cliffs to ris tho. I made high ice then low ice on top but not messing up the cliffs. Then high ice again over as many times as i had space for.
Don't offese stereo, but it sucks

Arrrrgh, why I waste my time trying to make one better?
That looks like my first extended terrain test...
BTW: Read my first post
I think it got deleted so imma say it againg
If you want a good looking RPG don't use square terrain like that, it makes it look unreal and different, either you go all square or you go no square.
Gotta keep it realistic.

Ya usually you should stick with one or the other but sometimes it's neccesarry to use square in a isometrical map (like for ladders).

Not true. You can make a small ramp, looks better.
I'm talking about like a one square ramp that goes up a cliff.
Just keep in mind that the terrain looking good and realistic is more important than it looking like the image. Very few people will recognize that you copied the town exactly but everyone will see the terrains imperfections.
