QUOTE
I suggest you advise moderators on making warn notes more concise, 'cause I was just warned by EzDay, and in the notes he said only "Spam." That leaves me in the dark about what I was actually warned for, though I suspect it was my post in this thread: http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=28524

That in itself makes little sense, as the thread itself was basically spam, and four other people even quoted my post (including Rantent, who is a moderator) and one also made it their signature.

He's right... please be more concise. Reference the post, quote it, whatever.

I always do it like this:

PM Title: Warned

Then I say for what it was, be it spaming, flaming or whatever it is.
Lastly, I link the post.

It would be nice to have it in the warn logs as well... Because then I can know what the "Spam" was.

I pretty much put the same things in the log than in the PM.

I usually post either a quote of a short message or a link for a long one, and describe briefly what was wrong with it. In the PM I give them an in depth report of what they did wrong and try to help them in improving their faults.

Then we leave the spam/flame/whatever in the thread, unchanged?

>Invisabalized (or however it's spelled)

Yeah, that what I do after. Or I'll usually just censor part of the post.
