It's against the adsense ToS to encourage clicking... I think it was either DTBK or Bolt who stated something along those lines.

But, since you guys are all staff and all contribute greatly to SEN, if anyone doesn't want to see/click the ads, let me know and I'll remove them for you.

I'm alright with the ads, hell, I'll even click them once in a while if I find something interesting.

But I've been meaning to ask something, can you possibly change the type of ads that we are recieveing? We are getting all this Emerald Password Upgrade for thousands of dollars and other sites that really do look like big scams. I'd really like it, and I bet the rest of the community would agree, that another category of ads could be placed, like say Spors, games and technology.

If ads that interest people are placed, there'd be more legitimate clicks and happier people, it's a win-win situation.

If the rest of the members live with them, I'll live with them. smile.gif

Off topic: Lol, two ads just appeared next to each other: "Join Emerald Passport Today!" and "Forget Emerald Passport!".

I think the ads are fine. Only things are that I think they should blend in more with this site, because the way they are right now, it's too noticeable (but not irritating.) And also, as beer said, maybe different ad contents?

I don't think I can control the content. I'm not sure why it's picking up that shiz... In a PSP topic, it does show psp ads though. I don't think SENv4 is built to be web spider friendly.

I'm working on some other website... A new free service... It'll indirectly help SEN...
But I tested it by putting some ads on there, it gave really, really content-specific ads for that sites nature. Hell, I would have even clicked on ALL of them because I would have been generally interested (like an ad about SQL Injection attacks).

So I'm guessing they won't improve until Senv5.
