Staredit Network -> StarForge -> Unit tree question
Report, edit, etc...Posted by XxClunkyxX on 2006-04-08 at 14:18:14
Is there a way to make it so that when I rename a unit the new name applies to the unit tree? Its really hard to remember whats what when it doesn't update the things that I rename. Is there anyway I can change this?

Thanks,
XxClunkyxX

you have to have mods running to screw with stuff like that.

If you really want to you can edit the unit tree list, but then it would apply that to every unit in any map.

Edit Units.lst in the Data folder. Which, of course, is located in StarForge's directory (usually it's C:\Program Files\StarForge unless you told it otherwise when you set it up). But, as Farty said, it'll show up in every map you edit with StarForge.

you can't change it in normal ol' staredit either....but I don't remember ever using the scarab on the unit tree...

StarEdit replaces unit names in its unit tree with what you change it to.
