I think we can get some decent conversation out of this. But, if it gets lame, move it to null. Who's protesting Marijuana being illegal on 4/20? I'm not.

No. it shouldnt be legal for someone to screw up there lives with Drugs. drugs are like a Part of our Society now. Yet no one does a thing about it, They cause so many Accidents and deaths then i can Count. Either its on the News, or in the Newspaper but you almost always see some kind of Death cause of drugs. yeah, There is no way im supporting it.

I'm for the legalization of Marijuanna (Because they would make bank on it) but protesting it on a day where half the nation is high, is kinda dumb and pointless.
I say to write your state government or senators with a logical and understanding letter if you wish to get something like that done.
The reasons I would like to see Marijuanna legalized:
Source of Income.
More money could be used in the "War On Drugs" for other, more harmfull drugs
Medicinal Use for Cancer patients. They are dying already, just let them not suffer from pain anymore
Depending on situations, the crime rate possible could go down. You rarely see angry pot-smokers. Keyword is: rarely, kiddies.
And everyone's big big issue, is if they legalize it, how to enforce rules.
Well.. Just make it like Alcohol. Unable to legally smoke until you're 21. You're caught driving with it, you get a DUI (Like you already do) You get fined, and all the same stuff as what happens with Alcohol.
Those are my reasonings. I'm all for it though if they do. If they don't, then let them continue to waste money, when the money they could be saving could be used for more potentially harmfull drugs such as Crystal Methamphetamine, Heroin, Opium, Pencyclydine, GHB, MDMA, DXM, ect...

Marijunua is hardly a drug. Drinking a lot is far more damaging to the body than smoking weed.

Hmm.. Where are your sources? I do think you're thinking about Alcohol, my little child. I have never heard of any deaths from Marijuanna... Maybe... One. But that's if you chronically smoke it. Like.. Let's say.... Thirteen blunts a day, for your whole life. THAT might kill you.

Marijuana doesn't do much really, it won't give you cancer like smoking tobacco would, although it will affect your memory. And I've never heard of anyone dying from smokin marijuana.
