Well....you won't get the Stacking text thingy right the first time...or second..or third..
You just have to test it with countless times of checking it in starcraft
lets say the word is Moooooooo
Moooooooo[spaces*Varies...this is what you have to test]Moooooooo
back symbol Front Symbol So in example.
Moooooooo Moooooooo It will take a while to get the spacing right...You can add color codes in between as well like
•Moooooooo –Moooooooo
etc...

My preferred way to do this is, if possible, to use an "invisible" colour code after the second word and use Ws and .s to be more accurate.

Tell me what the word is, and where you would like it, I'll do my best to overlap it for you.

Why test in SC? Use the Starforge string editor. I believ it's accurate. Or is it not?

Nope, I tried. SF said my text was PERFECTLY overlapped... in SC it was shyt.

Aww damn. That makes it takes eighteen times as long...

Which is what I said, TM... Anyways, what's the word, what colors is it, and where do you want it stacked(Force, Unit Name, Briefing, Map Name, etc.)? Perhaps one of us could do it for you

It isn't accurate with multiple overlap characters or tab characters. I belive everything else is correct.

Pfft, StarCraft ain't Notepad, boy. Telling us its nine letters doesn't do us any good.

Well just givin you a tip with a big word you might not be able to overlap if it's a unit name or title to a map , you probably can with title but it will be offset, yeah it's 18x as long but after the first thousand times of checking you get used to it.

Ok...the word is "gunbound"
I ALMOST got the perfect stack...it's just a little off.
I can't show it right now 'cause it's at home...I'm at school.

The 2nd code in each pair is a colour.

Are the words stacked right on top of each other? Or is one word a little to the right or left?
Anyways......THANKS!!!!!!!!!
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Stereo on 2004-07-21 at 13:47:38
They are close to right on each other, i think the top one is a pixel left. If you take the ' off the end I think they line up perfectly.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by SiLeNT(U) on 2004-07-21 at 13:53:52
Well, if you still care, I got it perfectly too, That's perfectly on top of each other.

Stacking words or whatever is a pretty simple concept...
Back - [] Color A - () Text - Your Mom Front - <> Color B - () Invisibile Color {} Extra Text - WW.L;
[](Red)Your Mom<>(Green)Yourmom{}WW.L;
The extra text on the end will move the second text input to the left... also, adding colors will count as a letter, so be aware that it may mess up your previous stack...
Use the extra text to move the second one on top of the second one (it should only take up to 10 times max to get it) the bigger the letter, the bigger the move will be...
Example: (stupid forum... just pretend that " ` " is a space...) Your Mom`````Your Mom{}l Your Mom```Your Mom{}Wll Your Mom`Your Mom{}WW,l Your MoYour Mom{}WW,ml YoYour Mom{}WW,mmjwWal Your Mom{}WW,mmwajkJaMWal
As for triple stack, i myself find it repulsing, i wouldnt use it ::pukes::
edit: shazzle i cant get the spacing to stay right when i submit post... oh well... you should get the idea of it -.-
edit2: i fixed it up
edit3: fixed some more -.-

U didnt tell us what <> () [] means -.- your mom! Nice example, I know I'm wrong but i think this; one space inbetween makes the letters go back as many spaces as there are back signs, two back signs plus one space = four letters back I think because.. AWw forget it -.-.
